Stasis double tap
When you say double tap to get out of being frozen you mean spam circle to never actually be able to get out before you are dead.....

8 AntwortenIt means press circle twice then wait the 4-5 seconds to actually thaw. It's about as dumb as having some of the easiest to use hand cannons have the ability to 2 tap you at 45 meters.

Reubdotcom You make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

1 AntwortenYou..they mean press it 2x. Spamming it doesnt change the breakout speed. Once you start glowing you dont have to press anything anymore.

“wHeN yOu SaY dOuBlE tAp...” Bro, it’s a video game. Just adapt. If the caption isn’t 100% and you know what you’re supposed to do, just do the thing you know you’re supposed to do. When you make these posts, bungie is going to put all production on new content on HALT just so they can roll out a hot fix for this one meaningless change. They’ll make a huge deal out of it like: “CALLING ALL GUARDIANS! Your overlords at bungie have triumphed again and we have heard your cries! Over the last 6 months, we have dedicated ourselves to fixing the “tap ‘o’, ‘o’” caption when you are frozen to reflect what you are actually supposed to do when you are frozen by a stasis ability! Unfortunately due to our efforts on this minor change, the Witch Queen DLC will now be postponed until summer 2023. We know our overly understanding fan base will be receptive to this change as the stasis frozen bug was a much more pressing matter than rolling out a fully fleshed out DLC in a reasonable timeframe. Eyes up guardians!”

Every time I get hit by the hunters blizzard I just set my controller down for a second and let my character live out his cold fate.

1 AntwortenJust in case anyone was unaware, I'm pretty confident that you can't thaw yourself out of stasis while you are airborne. Coldsnap grenades and Shadebinder melee also have a much shorter freeze duration, so you can't manually thaw out of them.

7 AntwortenYou know what, this is the only thing for me that pisses me off about stasis. I don't care about being frozen or coming up against 6 revenant hunters. But this right here has me raging the most about stasis. Double tap O to break free yet every single f@#$ing time it is worthless, it has never ever f@@king worked.

Double tap or long hold the result doesn't change, nothing happens and you die.

3 AntwortenNot to mention the fact that you take damage because you dare to break free and try and live?? I literally lost a trials match today because of that. Was at about 50% health, got frozen by a Revenant super, broke out at about 1% health remaining and because of that the stupid tornado killed me when I should’ve been able to escape. Cost us the game :/

yes, secret bungie memo:- "let them think they can get out of stasis, ha ah, they wont be able to until old Mrs moggins and her zimmer get all the way across the mad and poke them with a knitting needle to kill them, then she will emote a jig then wonder off to the next frozen dupe" "wont people complain" "nah, we will make it look like you can escape but its a 1 hit kill and we dont want to give light that power" "also, the streamers like it... so screw the normal population"

It doesn't work or it works so slowly it really is useless all together. Also, being a Titan, sometimes, in an attempt to get it to work, it triggers the shield if it's fully charged. Bungie has a lot of work to do in fixing the function of Stasis. I think, but I'm not sure, I saw they are eventually going to remove being able to use it in Crucible, which would be nice. It's more a hinderance as a power in that setting than anything because of the constant freezing or the ice walls going up that, while an attempt to hinder players on the opposite team, end up hindering players on your own team from making shots or getting through an area. It's really screwed things up in PvP as it's currently set up. I also hope they rework the Titan stasis all together. It's just frustrating and useless, IMO. I only ever use it if it's for a quest step or a bounty I really need. Otherwise, I don't touch it at all. The Hunter one, I'll admit, I have fun with, though! :D. I hate being on the receiving end of it, lol, but using it is a lot of fun! Same with the Warlock!
