This weeks gambit challenge sucks
5 ranks sounds easy enough but then you realise its 5 FULL ranks, not sub-ranks.
Thats way too much work for a weekly challenge compared to everything else so far, even with double/triple infamy and NONE of that is counted from previous weeks?!
I've already done a full reset and am frankly burned out on gambit but because I want the bright dust from doing all but 5 challenges, I'm going to need to do a ton more and that just sucks.
I'm aware I could skip it but I've already got a couple of other challenge get I know I'll want to skip and I'd much rather get the crappy grind out of the way if I have to do it. Either way, that's too much effort for a single weekly challenge, if it were sub-ranks, it would be fine.
Edit: alot of you are missing the point it seems. Yes, I have all season to get this "weekly challenge" done. But as I already said, I'm burned out. If this was the first gambit challenge we got it wouldn't be an issue but it wasn't, so it sucks.

Bearbeitet von GrifterDeMier01: 3/14/2021 12:37:18 PMBungie cranked the grind up this season to 11. Activity specific drops that have waaaaaaaaay to many perks and a drop rate of like 3-5%. They definitely lowered drop rates for the exotics in legendary lost sectors also. The battlefields are very long and grindy. Some of these quests steps are very time consuming.

5 AntwortenI feel your pain. I hate gambit, but if it's something you want to get done, you'll have to such it up and knock it out the way. You should've been around for those pinnacle and ritual weapon grinds that was in Gambit. Now that was a headache lol.

There are a couple of weekly bounties that already caused me to give up completing all 10 each week.

4 AntwortenThe season won't be over for a couple months. There are double infamy weeks. You don't have to complete every challenge to get 75 done. Sounds like a non-issue, imo.

5 AntwortenI think you're are getting a little heated over somethings that's not that big of a deal. Double infamy this week, triple on the weekend. Just doing the daily bounties on 3 characters got me to 3/5. Only took 2 games per character, 3 on one char because we just didn't get the prime spawn. Would be worse if it had to be done this week but we literally have 60 days to do it.

1 AntwortenShoot, I just hit Legend yesterday and I lose just about every match I play so I can foresee this challenge going the way of the Play 10 games of Survival last week; barely making any progress any time soon.

2 AntwortenYeah at this point in the season I'm pretty much-overplaying playlist activities. Playing Gambit with the increased infamy means constantly facing teams and people that invade way too much.

2 AntwortenIt should have been retroactive. I grinded too much Gambit today but I'm 4/5 and I'm early into a new reset so it shouldn't be too much more.

Also, you don’t have to finish the challenge this week, so feel free to take your time. If I were you, I’d just wait until Week 9 since we have a “Defeat (40) Guardians in Gambit. Earn bonus progress for defeating them as an Invader” challenge to look forward to.

Sure does, I've given up on those weekly challenges now, I just play what I wanba play and if they get done they get done otherwise I'm done with grindy as hell stuff for almost no reward

1 AntwortenGambit would benefit greatly from a shared heavy crate at specific motes banked. Even with x ammo finder on for heavy it’s never a guaranteed thing.
