There may be a term for this, but I don't know what it is. I was doing a quest and it was not an easy one. I got to a place where I had multiple combatants to fight. Only, the combatants kept suddenly appearing in a new place, mostly a few steps from where they were and they did not run, hop, or jump. It makes it really hard to hit a target when it disappears and re-appears somewhere else.
Before you suggest I get a better PC, this machine has high-end video card and decent processor. I seriously doubt that my PC is the problem. I also keep my OS up-to-date.
Anyone have an idea of how to fix this, or is it a game problem?
Thanks

1 AntwortenThey have added Taken profiles to all enemies now.

Bungie does this to make things harder than they really are.

This week on another exciting episode of 'My God, They Made a Video Game.'

5 AntwortenBungie problem. Bungie warned us that we’d see some weird things because they re-coded locations, and changed their network code. I think these teleporting enemies were what they were talking about. They’re working on a fix.

it's not on you, this is bungies problem

Not your system, not necessarily your internet. [quote]We’ve heard feedback that enemies are a bit more “teleporty” since the launch of Beyond Light – especially now in activities like Battlegrounds and Gambit. We’ve noticed this happening as well and have been investigating. There are several reasons why AI can teleport in Destiny, for example, we would rather teleport a boss that is stuck behind a door than have a player be unable to finish a mission. However, we believe that most of the recent uptick has been caused by new issues with some of our networking logic. I believe this is what Cozmo was referencing in the TWAB with regards to “teleporting enemies”.
