I’m just going to start of with saying in my personal opinion raid exotics should simply just be the most powerful period.
Why are they so afraid of having a Gally 2.0? Because of “gatekeeping”? I think that’s not a good argument at all because it’s going to happen no matter what when you have any sort of outlier.
Look at what we have now. We have lament (even if it’s nerfed it’s still amazing) and we also have the Falling Star which is a specific piece of armor for a specific class. I have only seen very few LFG posts asking for Falling Star and Lament because I think for the most part that kind of mentality has died down (except for the must have 100+ clears to play an easy raid people).
Anarchy is a beautiful raid weapon that I think is perfect. 1k voices is pretty good but not anything spectacular, but then you have dumpster fire weapons that are Eyes of Tomorrow and hell even Terrabah. I know eyes is currently bugged as of now but even before it was still utter trash. Buff these weapons and make them feel like actual powerful, raid exclusive masterpieces.

I don't even care, it's my favorite exotic, run it most of the time, unless I'm running super hard endgame. If there as such a thing as super hard endgame.

24 AntwortenThis weapon is an add clear beast. That’s it’s intended purpose. Not boss DMG. I clear out an entire area of adds with one shot. Why does everyone complain about this?
-
If EOT cant do jacksquat to bosses, let it at least be effective against Nightfall Champs. Remove the damage reduction in higher difficulties and it should be a good sub for Xenophage/Izanagi.
-
Sure, as long as it doesn’t become the next lfg requirement like gally was.
-
There's a lot of comments to your post so maybe it's already been said and if it has been said I apologize for repeating. But they've come out and announced that the eyes of tomorrow was unintentionally nerfed. Before it got nerfed that thing destroyed everything and was decent to do DPS with as well.

1 AntwortenI don’t think it is fear, I think they don’t know what they are doing.
-
First of all, Tarrebah has always been good. And now it's actually insanely good after the SMG buff. Bungie will always fear the second coming of the Gjallarhorn. It's like a prophecy that has been carved into each of thier minds. I'm sure they'll buff Eyes, but it won't be insane.
-
I've heard it's broken. Also heard some believed it was underwhelming when it first came out. I don't really know if it was really made that way. But if they buff it to become powerful than what it used to be, then clearly this is a symptom of the game that I call "They don't know what the phuck they want to do with it!" How could you roll out a gun, a raid reward that you've supposedly prepared for a certain amount of time just like the raid. And then come out with it half baked. What boggles me over the years is they come up with new guns, roll it out in the game, and then nerf or buff them every now and then months or years later. That blows my mind! 😂😂😂 Now tell me why that kind of unbalanced guns makes it out into the wild like that only to be buffed or nerf later on?... Why?... Because unbalanced power creates powercreep. And Powercreep sells! They're selling you Power by buffing and nerfing guns. Just watch, when this gun becomes OP, everyone will go nuts! You'll see! 2 cents!

6 AntwortenI think Bungie is still recovering from PTSD from Vex Mythoclast pre-nerf.
-
DMG said weapon damage is bugged right now. The nerf was not intended.
-
Tarrabah is amazing right now. I love that gun.
-
Actually give tarrabah a chance and you will be surprised. It just requires you to main only that gun for a minute.
-
20 AntwortenIt’s an rng drop... it shouldn’t be busted like anarchy
-
6 AntwortenYeah I agree. Exotics that are limited to raid drops From bosses should feel nice. there are reasons why there are yountube clips with people screaming when gally dropped for them. They wouldn’t be screaming if gally was shit. We need more things like this.

10 AntwortenAlready op in gambit
-
21 AntwortenSay that to the people who plays gambit. When someone invades with it, it’s game over...
-
1 AntwortenSeems to do very well in gambit 🙄

I was raiding 3+ times every week hoping to get the Eyes. It got nerfed before I finally got it. I played with it a bit and then stuck it in my vault. Very disappointing for a raid weapon. "Dumpster fire" is a good description for this weapon.

1 AntwortenAnd give it the catalyst lasting impression 😂
-
7 AntwortenLegend of Acrius: should have sword DPS. It is the same range and has far less total damage output. Just as easy to use as swords to. Tarrabah: It's buff should be able to be preserved when stowed. A catalyst that gives better ad-clear would go a long way as well. One Thousand Voices: Just give it the same total damage as a rocket launcher per hit, maybe a little higher. Eyes of Tomorrow: doubled damage

9 AntwortenIMO Raid exotics should be exempt from the regular balancing rules , and should be among the most powerful weapons in the game , because they are arguably the hardest weapons in the game to attain They won't break the game because only a small portion of the community will have them, but those that do should have there dedication rewarded
-
Just fix the damage bug. Acrius and Tarrabah (especially) need serious buffs, not to mention the other numerous exotics that go pretty much unused.
-
7 AntwortenI don't think it's meant to be used for dps, more for ad clear if you ask me. If you're trying to do boss damage with it that's a mistake.
-
It’s already amazing. The fact you can blind fire and wipe out multiple guardians. It’s fine

4 AntwortenI am the only perfectly balanced exotic

Make Raid Exotics great again!
