Since yesterday PvP is literally unplayable for me. Latency / Ping appears to be insanely high, feels like way over 500ms if not seconds. Accordingly I get the prompt "Contacting Destiny 2 servers" every few seconds followed by a beaver or weasel error after some time. This starts as soon as I enter matchmaking for PvP. No problems in orbit, social spaces or PvE, i.e. strikes and destinations. Earlier this week IB was running without issues. I haven't changed any networking settings on my pc or router. Never had this problem before. Absolutely clueless what could cause this... I appreciate any help I can get. Edit: Still happening, so it should've nothing to do with whatever problem caused the increased errors yesterday.
