No Hud almost makes Destiny perfect
Please try a Strike with no hud. Playing Destiny with the hud off is seriously one of the most exciting gaming experiences I've had in years. It's like whole new game. The game is suddenly mysterious and stunningly gorgeous without the visual clutter, but it's almost unplayable because the interact icons are removed.
Please make it possible to see all the hud data when pulling up Ghost.
Having to stop mid super-emersive gameplay experience to go into settings, to turn the hud back on just to find a mission step or see an 'Activate' icon is frustrating and defeats the purpose.
What's worse is currently pulling up Ghost doesn't even help. Logically, and lore wise it would make sense to get health bars, locations, radar and other hud data when Ghost is out.
In general more hud options would be great, but please, anything to make it more feasible to play the game without having to constantly stop and revert hud settings would be revolutionary.
After playing with the hud off I don't want to go back. IMO it's 100% a better gameplay experience, but as is: needlessly inconvenient.

I'm weird, I like my HUD with as much info as possible. My inner Warmachine I guess lol.

I just want them to bring up a fully customizable hud, select the colours you want for map and enemies/allies and not have to try different colour blind settings, to be able to select only you want on the screen and where you want it. I think that would be a sweet function, plus while they are at it, maybe add mouse and keyboard settings for newer gen consoles. Cause they are little m-atx computers.

A lot of games are really fun without a HUD. DOOM 2016 is one of my favourites to do it with.

Yeeeeah, no hud is basically for screen shots, not a gameplay experience. Would be cool to have that as a gameplay optional experience though. Bring up ghost to see hud, and maybe a few more visual ques so we know when grenades and super are charged. Adds a whole new dimension having to keep track by memory.

6 AntwortenStrongly disagree. High tech space ninjas that don't even have night vision of any kind is pretty stupid. You have to use your ghost as a flash light. Not going to talk about all the reasons that's stupid. No tracker represents a complete lack of spacial awareness. Can't even tell what direction you're getting shot from.

One of the neatest experiences I’ve had was when I accidentally caused third person perspective without a sword or emote. It was wild!

Back when red war was still required I played through its entirety without the hud on. Was a bit difficult but also very interesting.

Yeah okay I'll play with blind on. Not ny favorite skull but gotta get use to it at some point
