Please create a seprate matchmaking system where flawless people are match with other flawless people of that week so us normal people have a chance to play against normal people that are trying to get flawless. This way there will be equal chance for both of the teams to try. I got matched vs 6 x Flawless guys this week on my 2nd win trying to get 5 wins for the sword. Not everyone can go flawless on top of that people lose hope and motivation to carry on playing trials when they match up against very high skilled players. It just get annoying.
Or If they already went flawless give them another passage where they can match make passage vs passage for example
Once they got flawless they can buy Passage of Osiris (7 wins give 2 rewards req: been flawless on the same week)
and Passage of mercy players can match make with passage of mercy players
I dont have any other good solution I am just an average player these were my 2cents
Thank you for listening
itsYashu
Edit: Thank you for so much love and support I did not notice this will get so many likes and alot of people think like me. Thank you very much again I onlu hope bungie can see this forum and find a solution that benefit all of us and revive trials

6 AntwortenOr how about only allowing 1 flawless per week. Period. Per account. That way everyone has a chance. Screw this carry crap. Just lock them out. They got the reward no need to keep going.

29 AntwortenBearbeitet von ΞsnΛχΞ: 2/23/2021 4:48:37 PMNot sure if that’s the way but something needs to be done here. It’s disgusting how players who pay for the game and who have been fans of the franchise for years are being farmed and discouraged from even trying to get three wins while community managers applaud streamers who carry people to flawless adding to the problem and parading around their gear online. The fact that the best gear (or this season at least the by far best-looking armor) is unavailable for the vast majority of players, is also problematic to say the least. Someone suggested that old trials gear should randomly drop from matches. Fair suggestion, especially against the background of sunsetting. You should see how all the entitled tryhards go nuts when they read that. Meanwhile they get the Bad Juju catalyst I grinded for forever from participating in an adept-level fcuking strike.

1 AntwortenThis wouldn't change much. Eventually, you will only get matched with players that destroyed you and didnt go flawless. And once they go flawless, the players you stomped will be lined up for you until you go flawless. In their eyes, YOU will be the scourge they have to keep losing to. Being flawless is not wearing the infinity gauntlet. It doesn't make you unbeatable. What's the difference between a team that went flawless last week and is playing this week? Chances are they'll destroy you regardless. Then theres the fact that the flawless team may have played against only scrubs or jumpers or players who DC.

Literally just add a skill based matchmaking system. If it is such a pinnicle of pvp then nobody should have any problems always having to face off against sweat matches.
-
This is the best Trials idea I've read EVER!!

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Zoidberg: 2/24/2021 8:07:03 PMAnyone that goes flawless should be in their own MM in all Playlists. Trials weapons are officially as toxic as pinnacles were. Exclusive perks BS.

4 AntwortenWhat if no matter what every person gets one ticket per character? Once that ticket is done then that character is done. No more that week.
-
The game mode would then consume itself You'd just end up in the same place
-
I would just like a matchmaking system to be implemented so if you just want to quickly knock out the bounties you can.
-
Agreed normal people deserve to have fun and have a chance at going flawless not just go up against super sweats each match
-
WE ALL NEED TO UPVOTE THIS PLZ, I HATE TRIALS OF OSIRIS because us players who go against gilded flawless titles are ruining the game just like every pvp game. so Bungie I would do what itsYashu said about trials or trials will die for good, and then Destiny 2 will die because trials gear is the only thing pvpers care about, not the ugly average Lord Shaxx rank up gear.

1 AntwortenThis is not the solution. In fact, this will incentivize more instances of account recoveries and 1-win cards to farm wins. The problem with Trials in D2 is accessibility to loot for casual players, because let's be honest, 1 token for a win and 0 tokens for a loss is extremely laughable. It discourages even hardcore PVP players from trials. Look back at D1 Trials, we not only got loot at 5 and 7 wins (the equivalent of 3 and 5 wins compared to the new system), but we also got loot to drop from playing games. On top of that, there was additional Bronze/Silver/Gold tier rewards that gave Legendaries or Exotics. The best part of the system was non-flawless loot was easily obtainable while allowing flawless loot to remain for the top players only. Why does that matter? You need an incentive for people to play the game mode to increase the player base. By having next to no loot at low-win cards, most players won't invest their time because they won't get any sort of reward. This negatively impacts the entirety of the game mode.

Bearbeitet von a highly aggressive duck: 2/24/2021 2:33:57 PMMuch the same principal as the artifact power, enable it, but then bungie reduces the players power level by a factor of 10 for each time they go flawless that week down to a max of base season power. That would put the cat among the pigeons.

This is an excellent idea. Everyone gets one passage of mercy free. Then after that you only play against others on a similar passage card.
-
11 Antwortenlol The only reason flawless players play is so they can farm newbs like yourself- if they changed things in the manner you’re requesting the only people playing trials would be casuals... It’s honestly not even worth your time - if it’s not cheating it’s paid carries - there are so many better things to be doing than this...
-
see the problem is that people that suck dont get tokens and youneed to win 3 games to use them, just give incentive to play, I dont mind getting stomped if you give me something in return
-
I didn't use to support this idea but the hell of trials this past weekend made me change my mind. It's needed.

They should remove the card lockout after 3 losses and let us get the 3/5/7 win rewards. Going flawless should give you all of 3 of the previous milestone rewards plus the adept weapon and whatever else it gives you now. This could even bring up the population within the mode too. I would also implement skill based matchmaking up until the 6th and/or 7th game without losing, where it would switch to match against people with the same card. I've never been past the 4 win mark before getting a card lockout because the elite gatekeeping is so rampant within the mode. I appreciate a good challenge, but it shouldn't be twice as hard as a grandmaster nightfall.
-
Sadly the playerbase is just not big enough
-
2 AntwortenI doesn't need to be separated. It just has to be skill-based. When you're close to flawless but couldn't quite finish on it that doesn't mean you have no chance of beating a team that barely managed to go flawless before. Currently PvP is quite binary: Either you get destroyed without a chance or you destroy the enemy. It should search for opponents on roughly the same skill level so matches get more balanced, closer and therefore more enjoyable.

Bearbeitet von an Ape with a d2 addiction: 2/24/2021 12:36:43 PMSo on a playlist that already barely breaks a 1000 concurrent players on a regular weekend on both PC and xbox, implement a matchmaking system that reduces reward incentive for a specific skill bracket AND works to progressively split the playlist's playerbase into 2 separate matchmaking pools as a weekend progresses while also through the 2 previous points disincentivizes recurring play through the weekend? This is a very poor solution that creates more problems than it solves. Rather fix recurring farmable reward incentive for low skill brackets, so everybody has enough reason to just keep playing and be rewarded. The reason you're matching top brackets all the time is because the playerbase is dead, which is because the reward incentives were never good enough for all brackets. This is not a problem that's solved by reducing reward incentive for a specific bracket and splitting matchmaker pools.

Bearbeitet von Kouz_MC: 2/24/2021 7:35:10 AMNever happening. Streamers are Bungie’s vitrine, they are contractors/partenaires. That’s part of the new vision at Bungie. It’s actually working very well for both sides. Who cares about cows who love to get milked and keep asking for more? If you’d want a change, you’d need a lot of players to stop playing that activity, not useless Reddit BS. More and more players go into the activity now that they have a chance at three wins to earn every weapon week after week. In other words it’s win-win-win unless a massive amount of players leave the activity, just like all the single digit IQ baby crying hunters did day one of beyond light before they earned the aspects and fragments; and Bungie jumped in to nerf the shit out of warlocks. Anyway forget about it!
-
only thing this would do is people just wouldnt got flawless after they get the gun they want then just reset there card when they get to like 6 wins
-
Do you want them to wipe for you as well gd
-
How bout this. First week of flawless general bracket everyone fights just like now(people who went flawless during that time receive a aura effect or something). Second week those who went flawless last week fight each other and anyone who didn’t fights each other. Third week everything resets.
