Anybody else hear about the partnership between valve and OpenBCI?
I don't know much about the tech myself, but it sounds neat. Also hearing a bunch of mentions of "logout button missing" and "getting our brains fried." Don't get where all that came from.
Could I also get an explanation for that too if possible?

9 AntwortenThe jokes are referencing the various shows/books/etc. about virtual reality where the protagonist gets trapped in the game, and dies irl if they die within the game world. The most infamous example is SAO, or Sword Art Online, which is an absolutely garbage anime about a bunch if yahoos getting trapped in a full dive MMO. If you haven’t seen it, don’t bother, you aren’t missing much.
