I’ve been playing trials for 6 hours now. I’m a 1.01 with 19 flawlesses. I play above average. For the last five cards, it’s given my team .5s and negative kd players for the first five wins, then 2.5s with 200+ flawlesses for the two in a row to ruin the card. This has been 5 cards in a row. I want enemies at my skill level, not above or below

You have summoned supreme butthurt

Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Definitely not, the way trials mm is now is how it's been since ttk. The only way trials can work to its original goal is with this mm where cards stsrt off easy and get progressively harder till your facing the top

4 AntwortenLol no. Decent players would just trow until they have 0.1 kd and then would play against fingerless people for easy rewards.

2 AntwortenBypassed with recoves Money always finds a way. Trials will ALWAYS have roadblocks due to everyone under the sun trying to become a streamer and make money off said game mode.

2 AntwortenIf it’s filtered down to Seasonal or Weekly KD it’d probably be okay and worth a try from Bungie. I don’t think basing matchmaking on lifetime KD is a good idea though.
-
1 AntwortenAlso, they do not have enough players in any one region playing trials to have matchmaking.
-
2 AntwortenKD is not a measure of skill. Pure connection based matchmaking would be the best way for every skill of player to have the chance of going flawless while keeping it a prestigious achievement. You might just get lucky one week and match 7 teams of ‘average’ players just doing the bounty. At the moment, card based match making means there are bottlenecks as you move up. They also need to make the playlist more rewarding for lower skill players. Plus, KD matchmaking would also help recovs and not protect you from them.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von prawnk1ng: 2/14/2021 10:22:11 AMYou do understand if you’re always playing at your own skill level it’s even harder since you have a 50/50 chance of winning each game. Let’s say a 7 coin tosses in a row. The chance of you getting all heads is : 0.78% success rate Let’s be generous and round it up to 1% 🤔 Edit: this is without any mercy taken into account

2 AntwortenDid you say above average with 1.01 while using controller on pc? Yikes jkjk I don’t think bungie will ever get a closer opponent ranking system.
-
Another thing that would make this fail is even average players will be able to recover really bad player accounts so the amount of account recoveries will increase dramatically.
-
1 AntwortenI guess I am different, I like harder competition.
-
3 AntwortenGet better by practicing, instead of asking bungie to change matchmaking to hand average players free flawlesses. I get that its frustrating but they just have to incentivize trials matches as a whole, way better so even if u get rolled u have a chance of some loot.

Please do not let your self entitled view get in the way of the situation. Trials may be for everyone to play, but going flawless is not. Sooner you get your head round that the better.
