The entirely new Warlock exotic that sounded great for PvP is blocked off from working in Crucible yet the new Hunter exotic works entirely with Rat King and is great for a PvP setting like most Hunter exotics are. Shortly before the new season began we saw the new exotic armour and their respective perks. Us Warlocks thought we finally had something different to use besides the exotics we’ve been using for years. But no. Bungie did us over BADLY!
Three viable exotics (Transversive Steps, Ophidian Aspect and [possibly] Getaway Artist) and a single S tier subclass tree (Top tree dawn). That is all Warlocks have had for over a year and no new PvP exotics in over 3 years. Even if you mention other decent or good Warlock exotics you realise all of them released in D2Y1. Anything good we get is nerfed FAST and TERRIBLY!
Shadebinders have been nerfed to dust. Freezing lasts less than a second which is barely enough time to swap a weapon and enough time to still get killed by a shotgun. The only reason to use it is because of the grenades and fragments which come with all classes anyway.
Why is the game constantly being balanced and made around the gameplay idea of Warlocks being the PvE class and Hunters being the PvP class? Stop doing this.
Using the same things in PvP for 3 years is a p**s take and makes the game stale and boring. Hunters (and sometimes Titans) getting even more cool and unique PvP exotics is straight up more salt in the wound because the PvP team at Bungie love seem to love their H*nters.

1 AntwortenSigh. Seriously? Warlock has 2 Light subclasses arguably 3 that hold up well against stasis. Chaos reach and Dawnblade are insane.

3 AntwortenMiddle tree stormcaller with those exotic legs, any other tree stormcaller with that chest piece that increase damage per kill, nova bomb, top tree dawn blade good super counter, middle tree dawn zone control, bottom tree good for attack, maybe just get better at the game?

1 AntwortenMad cos bad

3 Antwortentop or bottom tree dawn. Middle tree nova with blink. Geo mag chaos reach, or top tree storm caller. Go back to the light instead of playing with ice coward

6 AntwortenDestiny pvp is pure garbage ... why would you ever want to play that anyway?

Middle tree arc Escape artists What’s the problem?

3 Antwortenstopped at 1 viable subclass in pvp , S tier option top down and mid arc, A option stasis , and A- top arc . and for exotics you missed Karnstein Armlets

1 AntwortenYour out of your mind and have no clue how to use a warlock. They are op as hell in crucible. Stop crying about warlocks. Only warlocks cry.

Funny story, yesterday I was playing pvp and used middle tree dawn blade (attunement of grace). I popped my super in a random spot of the map, where nobody was expecting and I got like 3 kills in row and then my teammates show up in the well and we all team fire our opponents to oblivion! I guess the point I’m trying to say is all warlock trees can be used for both pve and pvp. Just keep in mind that in pvp mostly everybody uses their super as a panic reaction instead of being proactive. Will awesome plays happen like this all the time? No absolutely not! You’re gonna get shutdown a lot because that’s just the nature of the game. So use whatever super you want but use your super wisely, when nobody is expecting it.

3 AntwortenTop tree nova with Skull of Dire Ahamkara says hi. Chaos Reach with Geomag Stabilizers says hi. Middle tree Nova with Blink helmet says hi.

4 AntwortenTitan main here since D1. Just played Mayhem for the Seasonal Weekly challenge of 50 Guardian kills. Never have I been zapped by a super so fast the way Chaos Reach currently works. Like, one touch and I was slivered if I had full health and shields, which most times I didn't. I'm not calling for a nerf or anything. But, you need to explore your Warlock abilities a bit more there Guardian. Cheers,

3 Antwortenlol maybe u need to git gud scrub warlocks are vary strong in pvp u got chaos reach/geomegs u got top tree dawn blade u got nova bomb and even stasis

3 Antworten🤔 Top tree dawn is still the best in the game.
-
5 AntwortenNova, top Dawnblade , middle arc and stasis I don’t think that’s bad for pvp.

Warlocks are fine. Could they be better? Definitely, but they can hold their own. I wish nova would be more consistent as that is my main, all I can do is hope for an update.

1 AntwortenDestiny pvp = bad Ur welcome!
-
5 AntwortenYou can clap cheeks with any subclass on Warlock. Chaos Reach is actually disgusting atm and both Nova Bombs are insane. Top tree Dawnblade is pure juice and Stasis is incredibly powerful.
-
9 Antworten*looks at my claws of Ahamkara and pets them gently* Shhhh baby don't listen to this mad man.
-
3 AntwortenHate to say it but get better i see warlocks destroy in pvp top tree is not only viable option and by you saying that is why i said get better. Every class cries about other classes just stop learn to counter. All subclasses are viable if you know how to play.

There is also Claws of Ahamkara for Top Dawn and Shade. But overall I agree. When they gave Hunter Mask of Bakris in the last batch - to an already huge selection of awesome PvP exotics, I was thinking wow it's really overdue for a Warlock PvP exotic. No such luck. And when we do eventually get one it will either be given alongside yet more equally great ones for the other classes (not balancing the books) or it'll be nerfed into the dust like Contraverse.

7 AntwortenViability... that’s rather subjective. There are multiple Warlock Exotics and abilities that, as a Titan, I wish I could use.
