I feel exactly the same way you do dude. It sucks. A completely useless Warlock exotic and tons of nerfs. Not a single new PvP exotic for years.
What’s even worse is that the Hunter exotic perk works with rat king. More salt in the wound I guess. Bungie love their Hunters.

Not the PvP department at Bungie. Don’t get me wrong, Warlocks are the best at PvE but it sucks that due to them keeping it that way, Warlocks aren’t allowed to be strong in PvP to maintain “class balance.” Instead this makes Destiny the type of game where some classes are optimised and built for a certain type of activity which was never or has never been specified by Bungie but hey do it anyway.

Hmm, they are the best in PvE but not by a whole lot. It also depends on which part of PvE you mean. Its not like you're feeling less powerful on a hunter or titan in PvE, or at least I don't feel less powerful. I feel powerful in different ways and right now I'm loving GG and thundercrash to bits as I've always loved middle tree sentinel with the constant explosions. In end game content though, warlocks are must have cause of the Well. Same as titans are good for bubbles and hunters for tether, but you can do end game stuff with warlocks easily, without them it becomes more challenging or outright impossible for some people.
