Update: Look at the difference in language when the 30% buff was announced to the actual patch notes. :(

Rocket Launchers have fallen behind other Heavy weapons in most measures of effectiveness, we’re pushing them more into a burst damage role.

Nerfed into oblivion. 36 lootable raid clears, 43 total and the damn thing still hasn't dropped for me. Only need it to complete the seal. Total bs.

1 AntwortenEoT is not just trash in terms of damage and inherent perk, it’s also hilarious when say someone kills the adds before the rockets hit, and suddenly these latter ones vanish into thin air. Have you ever seen a rocket launcher who’s rockets disappear? Bungie made it! And it’s so slow to shoot those damn missiles that one can’t jump shoot without risking to commit suicide if any physic is around. Last but not least the inherent perk is broken since one doesn’t need to kill enemies with missiles to get it to work. Other weapons and abilities do the trick. Typical Bungie delivering work in progress, and then needing it without even knowing what’s good or wrong with it. Instead of paying community managers, they should hire testers.

8 AntwortenI'll sprinkle some unfathomably dumb logic out here. There's a charged with light mod Argent Ordinance - Buff listed as Godslayer Warheads. It boosts dmg. Which you can stack with Adaptive Ordinance IF and I stress IF you're able to get 4 kills with the first volley. Bungie's logic as bad as it is I believe......is that dmg coupled with the 30% buff would be broken. Eyes is tough to get as it is from DSC (even if it dropped twice for me I got extremely lucky). That said there was no need to nerf Eyes of Tomorrow. It needs to be powerful as both an exotic and a raid drop. Or they've just made it not worth farming for with this stealth nerf they put out. Usage rates won't change because they nerfed something. Swords are still king. If they're going to apply buffs they should do it across the board then check down the line if something needs a very minor change. As I once said. Swords among other guns would see less popularity IF other weapons were actually good.

The people that thought the soft cap in the new season should be below the hard cap of last season, and the people that think this shadow nerf was called for. inb4 a certain forum dweller blames the PVP community for the nerfing of a weapon blatantly designed for PVE. I know, it’s a bug, but this special lil trooper we all know and love, will spin this shit into something like “pressure from PVP players to balance the sandbox “hewt theyr whittle feerings” and they got “newvouse and accidentally hit the wong button”.

ha, you should have seen the Vex mythoclast pre nerf. If you had that in pvp you could 1 v 6 and win every fight every time. you literally had to quit any pvp match where the opponent had it.

Well. this explains why my new Legendary season RL is vastly outperforming an Exotic. I used Eyes in the Battle Ground and just thought I must be missing with half of the rockets even though they all looked like they struck the one target I aimed at....
