Seriously who designs the armour at the moment?

Having some cultural inspiration for the armor is cool, but leaning into it too much just makes it look dumb. I'd like if the armor sets were all around less bombastic and a little more practical, with little bits of flair here and there to keep it from being generic. And as a side note, does all hunter armor have to be asymmetrical? It drives me up and down the wall when one arm has armor plate, and the other is just naked.

2 AntwortenI like that it has a Persian inspiration, and honestly, I think it looks really cool and unique. I get why a lot of people don't like it, but it's not as if it is actually poorly designed or lacking inspiration. You can't blame the people who designed the armor just because it doesn't suit your tastes. They worked hard to make a set that is inspired by actual Persian armor and thematically matches up with the tone of the season. If anything, blame Bungie for not giving us more options. At the end of the day, you could always just not give them your money.

I just wanna look like a badass futuristic Police Officer with the Peacekeepers on... which I think I kind of do right now but I’d love a set that it designed around the Exotic leg armor.

The armor looks like guardians rummaged through the dumpsters of JoAnn's Fabrics and Michael's Arts and Crafts. Warlock .." OK... who's idea was it to use the styrofoam balls on my helmet ?" Titan .." I guess the same person that used the frosting bag for my mine." Hunter smirking " Now, I'm glad we always look the same !"

I like damn near all of it. It's mostly the helmets that suck, particularly the titan one. I imagine the rest of it is gonna look a lot better with shaders.

I'm in the same boat. I always seem to have at least on new armor or if it doesn't work I just stick with the ones I like from previous seasons. The free to obtain armor either looks like sh!t or there pretty good, while trails has some pretty dope armor. I wish they would make armor like that for pve cause I'm sh!t in trials and I know I will never get any guns or armor from it. Zavala and Shaxx armor is meh and drifter is sunset. He had some cool primeval armor but those are sunset as well.

I honestly would like bungie to let the community to design armor, weapons and emblems once and a while or even a new enemy of one of the current (enemy) factions we have now.

3 AntwortenSo the sassanid empire armour from the 6th century was the design for the new armour. I did look at the armour from then but got to say very poor design choice cause I would not even be court dead in it, thats really weak armour for history.

Such pathetic managers who feed on streamers and youtubers support of the game. If youtubers say it’s good then everyone thinks it’s good. I’ve only seen the managers comment on little issue forums and nothing like this post. The design team is really slacking and I’m sure as hell that you don’t need activision on to make armor look cool like d1. It’s really pathetic bungie and it’s community managers never tackle the main issues. This game will never be good again. Unless management changes and bungie becomes funded and not free to play.

12 AntwortenYeah it's not good. Let's all leave what kind of armor we would actually like to see along with our gripe. I'm curious what the community actually likes! Personally I like armor that looks functional, less ornamental and huge. Like that shit is going to get caught on everything! I like the futuristic vibe with some chroma type glows worked into the armor.

LOL why make cool armor for you? When they can make ugly armor and then charge you at eververse for the ornament you SHOULD have got LOL.
