Bungie simply doesn’t read or doesn’t care about your feedback. They have actually straight up lied to the community on several occasions.
Where is the renewed focus on pvp Bungie??
Where are the more powerful weapons that’s sunsetting would allow you to bring into the sandbox Bungie?
Why are you recycling weapons we already earned and telling us to regrind for them Bungie??
The leadership at Bungie should be changed. Clearly they have lost touch with what makes this game great.
They literally don’t care. They are working on other Games etc.
There is no passion left on the Bungie Dev team for Destiny anymore.
Stop being surprised when Bungie either doesn’t follow through on their promises or just just doesn’t listen to your feedback.

2 AntwortenYou don't know what bungies done for me so you can't say its for everyone. I still have high hopes for bungie, imo thier a great dev team.

Just sunset this Hamster wheel. Bungo already got your money🤑. They obviously not giving 2 £vcks what the community thinks. Scarab Lord already had his vision of this mess. Things were a lot better with Christopher Barrett. If you all think this ship will turn around with the next 2 expansions 🤣😂 Jokes on you for hoping. Bungo have other IP's they are working on while continuing to milk the Player base. Destiny in its current iteration is a happy-medium for them.

1 AntwortenHears the truth. They got our money already. They are getting new light players money as well. Beyond light and the current state of destiny 2 is a half baked product. I do not believe they will be in a rush to do swooping changes to the game. I personally will not support the current state of the game any longer. Not trying to force anyone to feel the way I do.

Excuse vs Reason. Take the whatever Lens name it was for the last event before BL released. I am convinced that 90% of the players who completed that thing used the reward Lens as an Excuse. These 90% know their history, and were convinced that this reward would just be added to all those that ended up in the trash bin. Some 10% argued that “the lens will allow players on Europa to see through the storm” or the like Reason. Now my feeling is that 90% of these 10% were using that reason as an excuse. See where I’m going? Bungie has failed to turn high investments into a large active playerbase. However they have an incompressible small but committed playerbase, who will continue to buy everything. It is only rational from a business perspective to cash cow and let the fanboys hype for content that was never promised by using names that induce these “fanboys” into reasonable expectations. However Bungie doesn’t promise anything. Look at the split! Whatever the fanboys and community’s fantasies over Activision, Luke Smith’s only two public statements on the subject were: - after the split: we are sorry for the rumors on Activision, in fact we are grateful for the collaboration. Destiny would have never been what it is today without Activision and their partners. - before beyond light: we are nowhere close to be able to deliver content in the size or form of forsaken ever again. That was a clear disclaimer, even if they don’t need any. So you can’t expect a company that runs on less than half the staff (and lost all lead directors), that supports edition and publication costs, and has half the staff busy with other projects, to deliver anything close to when they were 100% on Destiny, with top tier directors, VV and HM to collaborate, and free from edition and publication concerns. Now I agree, I log on Destiny, turn around, switch to other games. But it is what it is. The only way to stop this is to stop allowing Bungie to cash cow. Eventually they will sell it to bigger companies, who’ll be able to deliver a little more. However no one will ever invest significantly again. This business model is that of a cash cow only, not a star product. You’ll Have To Wait For Ready Player One

Even the streaming community is turning on bungie. They better start listening to their community before there isn’t one left...

Bearbeitet von BaconCola: 1/26/2021 9:16:16 PMSince Destiny 1 the fix for everything was always in the near future but never in the next update. The next update will bring so many more issues that the original fixes become forgotten or the shortcomings accepted. Bungie is the equivalent of "The check is in the mail"... The reason why they reissue relatively recent weapons is because they still sell the DLC for it but the loot is irrelevant due to power caps. The fact that they didn't realize that sooner is shocking. They remove fan favorite content, they remove weapons we grinded hard for, despite hundreds of posts to allow matchmaking for the higher tier strikes they keep saying they look into it just to do absolutely nothing about it. Stasis in PVP was the last straw for me, it's there because it is powerful, it is designed for the Fortnite Generation and they hope to sell DLC with it. Bungie is one of the most carefree and ruthless companies in the business, it's them who had one of the most successful IPs with Halo and rather wanted to the money than their brain child.

1 AntwortenWe are listening. But we can't hear you! Lalalalalala I can't hear you lalala.
-
2 AntwortenBy the time Destiny reaches it's potential. The game will no longer have any dev support and no new expansions to look forward to. No more seasons. It will be the end of life... Then Joe B will say look. See. Best day came. But it's the final year of destiny
-
I think it's funny how that dude said that time regarding seasonal content and leaving Activision, 'and if it's not good..we can change it.' And then we got Season of the Emo Dude Yeaaahhhh......

Bungie moved on from destiny several years ago. But they are milking the cow for what it’s worth. They are lazy. It’s why Activision left. Bungie refused to take on ambitious projects. They will hurt their whittle fingys. After playing destiny for thousands of hours i left for almost two years. I came back only because it was free. I found a total mess of grind this grind that i on the same maps i ground for thousands of hours. News flash the moon isn’t new. Lol? They took a lot of money from Chinese telecom company. I assure you that’s bungies primary focus what ever it is they are doing for them. Don’t get mad just accept it. Destiny is dead. It’s on life support. Yes i to do not like Luke Smith but he has a boss and his boss seems to regularly agree with him so job well done I guess . Deej bailed why? I mean why really. I’ll play for a free maybe a week or two then move again. I won’t spend a penny on the game anymore. Anyways that’s just how it is. Don’t expect anymore

Bruh sunsetting was never about power creep lol they needed to vault content for whatever lazy reason, so they couldn’t allow weapons and armor in the game that are unobtainable and that’s it it’s that simple. All these morons thinking sunsetting was bc power creep or health of the game need a reality check, bungie is lazy af and lie to their players. Vaulted content means we need a reason the loot is gone also and win win they can reissue old loot bc they’re the laziest game dev currently in business. Hilarious listening to all the bungie shills defending and actually believing anything BUNGIE says. -blam!- bungie and -blam!- this game

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von CyberVVolf: 1/25/2021 6:10:46 PMBungie is doing there usual "we are listening" and "the community is important to us" lie like they do before every season and expansion!! This is from TWAB right at about two weeks out from the new season, so its funny how predictable they are when they start with the "we care" crap right before players may purchase a new season! "We know there are a lot of community conversations happening around the current state of the game. I don’t want to lean too far into the “We’re listening” meme but it’s 100% true that we take community feedback to heart and are absolutely considering community concerns and suggestions as we continue to evolve our plans for 2021 and beyond. Earlier this week, Assistant Game Director Joe Blackburn put out a Tweet mentioning this and that we will give an update to the community with a deeper dive into the state of Destiny. Last year, I said Destiny's Best Days are ahead. Seeing what's coming, I believe this more than ever. But we have work to do to get there. 2021 is going to be a little different for Destiny. Taking some time to validate our plans, but expect a state of Destiny 2021 next season. — Joe Blackburn (@joegoroth) January 19, 2021 We love Destiny 2 and love having the privilege to work on it. We’re excited about some of the changes we have next Season and will have some more to lay out over the next few weeks as well. Thanks for playing". <3 Cozmo I am sure that most of the team may care, but unfortunatley they follow what the leads say and the leads just do not seem to care and are disconnected from what the players want even though its well listed in the forums. The entire sunsetting plan seems to be a faliure since they are recycling old weapons back in that players already have, but with a new level cap. Menwhile my 21% Delirium and Oxygen SR3 are still sitting in my vault with low power caps. Seems silly to not replace those weapons with new weapons to earn and to start adding in the same old weapons with a higher power cap. If Destiny's best days are ahead Joe, then you need to start actually listening to the community and interacting with them more then now. I still think its a bunch of usual Bungie BS!

1 AntwortenDoes anyone wonder why all these enemies we fight don’t just blow us to hell with their drop ships? Or why dregs don’t carry two handguns? Or what Hunters step on when they triple jump? And why they can’t step on the same air and jump forever? How come none of the enemy races we fight never use tanks or vehicles other than the lame ass Fallen Walker, Pikes, or interceptors? Why don’t we have more tanks? How come no battles are ever fought in space with our ships? Do our ships even shoot? How hard is it to put a couple guns on our sparrows? I really wish Bungie would just sell the Destiny franchise to a company that actually gave a -blam!- and would put just a tiny bit more imagination into the game.

1 AntwortenEvery time this concern comes up, Bungie's response is "the future is good, we just have to get there". It's always just on the horizon, just out of reach, and they just need a few more shekels in order to get there. But it never comes. It's always a promise, but there's no delivery.
-
2 AntwortenYou know what's funny? Bungie emailed me to take a survey and I was honest in it. But then I come on the forum and find I got ninja'd on another post for also being honest.

1 AntwortenYou all really need to stop playing at this point. They'll only care if the number of players drops tremendously. The youtubers are starting to feel the same with how repetitive the game has been getting. I've stopped a long time ago and only come back to hear the news, but it only seems to get worse the more times I come back on here. Take a stand, but you need a lot of people and enough commitment.

8 AntwortenI kind of hold Aztecross’ sentiment on “We’re not angry or pissed anymore, we’re just tired.” Unfortunately, I think the majority of the player-base is at this point, and it’s at this tired aspect where players truly begin to quit.

59 AntwortenThe renewed focus on pvp is 1. Stasis warlock getting adjusted twice this season 2. Stasis/ shatter dive nerf 3. Titan being watched as we speak. 4. Exotics that are breaking the game being disabled immediately like whitherhoard and rose (not exotic but) among others. 5. Pvp getting its reward structure updated next season before pve does which is big. Remember when pvp didn’t get updates for months I do and this is a welcome change of pace not perfect but better

82 AntwortenBearbeitet von HOOSTKO: 1/25/2021 10:48:25 PMEVERYONE Look up how many hours you’ve played this game, then add up how much you’ve spent on the game. Don’t include Eververse items because that’s a silly sunk costs at this point. Now divide the total price paid by total hour hours played. Those pennies or fractions of pennies are what you pay an hour for this game. Now, consider what other paid activity is that cheap. There isn’t one. Now, say thank you, continue to provide constructive feedback, and stop acting like this is the worst game ever. When in fact, it’s likely provided you better value for money then any game you’ve ever play... by a lot.

As long as I have Thorn, Necro Grio and Darkness subclasses I'm happy lmao

Was this meant to be a PSA? You didn’t really express a solution which is surprising considering the specific pain points expressed throughout your post. Are you advocating for something? Is the solution changing leadership? Maybe that’s where you’re going with it. Or maybe it’s a way of making inflammatory comments with the hope of conveying a sentiment to the broader Bungie team? What would you specifically like to see changed? I disagree with the approach and your solution. Leadership might not have the detailed knowledge to really understand the nuances of the game. They’re generally driving more high level strategy and executing on things that improve the solvency of the business. Now leadership is accountable, but the change you’re looking for doesn’t happen at that level. I would suggest compiling a list of things you would like to see changed. Also, have you considered that they made these changes on purpose to drive short term sales of their product relative to their target population? This was intentional to drive sales and they probably anticipated this reaction but they are a business after all.

3 Antworten
Where are the more powerful weapons that’s sunsetting would allow you to bring into the sandbox Bungie?
My dude... Bungie brought in the Seraph weapons and warmind cell mods literally the season after they announced sunsetting. They are right there.

Stop saying bungie hates everyone. Bungie has so many stuff coming in the near future, they can't keep up with the community and destiny all at once.

Plenty of people feel pvp should be abandoned so I'm sure they feel listened to The raid weapon perks seem pretty powerful and they have said they could find there way into other weapons in the future. The moon and dreaming city reissues are solely because people were complaining that those locations have no purpose. They likely would have changed all the drops to use the world loot pool if that wouldn't just change everyone's complaints to not being able to complete collections or triumphs.
