DLC is wonderful isn’t it?
After they’ve finished developing their fantastic game the studio has decided you haven’t had enough fun, SO THEY GO AND MAKE YOU SOME MORE!
It’s like cake, if you could download it.
But what’s your favourite, and why?

5 AntwortenSo, I did decide to actually look through my games, and while I think The Old Hunters still gets the prize, there are a few I wanted to mention. 2nd Encore - Skullgirls. You could argue that this is a remaster, rather than a DLC, but I consider it a DLC. Full voice acting for the story mode, and added Robo-Fortune and Fukua as brand new characters. The voice acting just really brings the story to life, and Fukua is one of my mains, so.. The Octo-Expansion - Splatoon 2. A story that embraces the darker side of Splatoon’s world, while still remaining lighthearted and goofy, a host of amazing new songs by Off the Hook, and 80 new challenge levels? Yes please! And on top of all that you get to play as Octolings! Minerva’s Den - BioShock 2. BioShock 2 is already my favorite one. The story wasn’t as great as its predecessor, but the gameplay was leagues better. The DLC keeps the amazing gameplay, while adding a story almost on par with the original. Sweet. Dead Money - Fallout: NV. I can’t really put into words why I’m so enthralled with Dead Money, but I really love this DLC. And finally, I’d like to second The Crimson Court for Darkest Dungeon as a really good runner up. It has a few too many problems for me to consider it the best (I think they made it a bit too easy to contract vampirism, and I hate the vampire hunter dude), but the vampires really are some of the best vampires I’ve ever seen.

I really enjoyed Hearts of Stone from the Witcher 3 DLC. Excellent storytelling.

Dragonborn DLC, Skyrim. Its a small addon, I found it fun

2 AntwortenThe Bavarium Sea Heist from Just Cause 3. It gives you a rocket boat that has unlimited boost, homing missiles, and a minigun, and when you complete it it gives you a gun that summons lightning strikes.

Except when they pull the content out of the main game and make it extremely relevant to finishing or understanding the story. Especially Destiny 1, Mortal Kombat 11 and FFXV can all get -blam!-ed because of that. But for the best best DLC I think it's Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. I'm not counting Forsaken here since it's an expansion required to essentially continue the game itself where I view DLC as side offerings for an already complete product.

1 AntwortenI'd have to go with Shivering Isles (The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion) followed by Frozen Throne (Warcraft III), Frozen Wilds (Horizon Zero Dawn), and Hearts of Stone (The Witcher 2: Wild Hunt)

Lonesome Road. While I loved all of the DLC in FO:NV Lonesome road is just fantastic, plus I enjoy listening to Ulysses’ VA who is fantastic.
