title says it all drop rates are crap and most the time it's armor with shit rolls or weapon with a shit perk pool.

3 AntwortenLoot pool is too shallow. I cannot tell you how many Whispering Slab and Lonesome I've gotten lately. I even got a Lonesome from a powerful drop from Eva Levante during the Dawning.
title says it all drop rates are crap and most the time it's armor with shit rolls or weapon with a shit perk pool.
Love getting a snipe with hip fire grip or surrounded Those perks should never be on a snipe, lazy devs

3 Antworten Taniks has no House. He kneels before no banner, owes allegiance to no Kell. He is a murderer, and very good at what he does. I have been tracking him since Wolves broke their chains, yes? Now Taniks works for Wolf Pack, but not for long

Bearbeitet von redmosquito87: 1/19/2021 4:45:53 AMThe way I see it, we aren't getting a new raid until the next expansion, which is maybe this fall and therefore there's not much reason to grind any weapons or armor now. Your primary weapon isn't that important for your success in a day 1 raid. You'll get something that's good enough through prepping for the raid during the season it comes out. Your special weapons are only important to an extent, really only if your DPS method is Anarchy + special. Otherwise almost any special will work just fine as long as it fits the encounter. And the best DPS weapons are exotics currently unless you're using Anarchy + slug shotty/sniper. I don't see much reason to play this game much until the season before a new expansion. I mean I can play enough to keep up with new exotics and what not, but legendary weapons don't matter anymore, armor doesn't really matter that much, at least not in the off seasons. Destiny is no longer a hobbyist game that you play for hours everyday. You can get away with playing 1-2 hours a week, and maybe if you want a day one raid completion, you might need to invest a little more time the season before a raid to make sure you have good weapons and some decent armor. As far as VoG goes, exotics are going to be the raid meta. I'm going to guess that 5 Cloudstrikes or 5 Xenophages plus 1 Divinity is going to be a really good strategy for the two DPS encounters.

2 AntwortenI've been following the trend here. And for the first time Kelly Green is right. Bungie will not revert or reverse their stance on this. Bungie made their bed and they are sleeping on it. I don't like what they did to this game. But no matter how loud we shout, they will not change. Kelly Green is correct. We should leave. Quit the game. If you can't, then stay. But if you can quit, then quit the game. They will not change. You can shout. Or you can shout and quit. If not, then keep playing. But you'll be disappointed. I chose to quit.

1 Antworten
weapon with a shit perk pool
Let's just ignore all of the DSC weapons with some of the best perk combinations we've ever seen in the game, and half the weapons from Season of Arrivals including Falling Guillotine and Temptation's Hook as some of the most unique swords in the game, and Warmind Cell weapons from Season of the Worthy that completely changed the way you could make weapon builds, and the outstanding perk pool from Season of Dawn. Let's ignore that all of these weapons over the past year were new, great, and easily farmable. If you ignore all of that, then yes, we only have weapons with a shit perk pool... As for armor, if you are consistently getting shit rolls, you are probably not playing endgame content. Although I just checked your profile, looks like you don't play at all...

It's not the loot that is bad, it's the content. Who wants to run the arms dealer strike for the 10000 time for a new adept legendary? Had bungie since the start of year 2 given us one new strike for each season and expansion we would have had 12 strikes. Yet we are stuck with only 5 (they took a new one from last year away) since year 2 and the rest are old ones from Nessus (3) and EDZ (2).

1 AntwortenSo you don't want pulse monitor and field prep on all of your primary weapons??

Never Heard of it. It isn’t an issue. It will never be “half baked”. So no we don’t need to update it. Or need new maps or gamemodes. We never made custom gamemodes in Halo Cheaters don’t exist on Steam either. It’s a conspiracy myth. We Value your Time and your Loyalty here! Scarab Lords need only Apply! Bearbeitet von Yosemite Sam: 1/17/2021 4:11:05 PMBungie thinks so by making it so bloated with junk loot that any loot added now doesn't really have any value. Seriously, look back at how D1 loot system was designed and how much loot was added to the game that was junk loot versus D2 junk loot. D2 junk loot has taken over the game. IMO Bungie has done nothing but hurt that game since the day it released. The idea of a looter shooter is to create an incentive to chase loot, and when a game is flooded with a bunch of crap that is handed out to you, where is the incentive in that?
There is none...
-
Not enough game to play with the loot more like.
-
Literally feels like every gun is Edge Transit again
-
Don’t worry. They got enough resources to refresh Eververse at the bare minimum of 2 times per season but not give us anything substantial such as guns and armor
-
Bearbeitet von mja calg: 1/17/2021 10:24:36 PMI turned in ~ 5,000 of my 11,000 Crucible Tokens, because that's going away by Season End. I haven't kept a single weapon or piece of Armour - all deconstructed for materials. Edit: The loot pool is tiny and in many cases, it's gear that I got in previous Seasons or even older (D1 stuff). Adding D1 content and previous seasons content is not acceptable.
-
5 AntwortenSo...... get the loot and play other games while you wait for more content? The concept of playing one game day in and day out is so wildly out of my capability to understand. Like, that just sounds so -blam!-ing miserable and would honestly kill my drive to play games at all. Like seriously, why do that to yourself when there is a such a large category of good, and often cheap, games to play? Try something new. Might find your new Destiny.
-
And to me this would be fine, if they didn't stretch the season out with time gates. I'd rather blow out the season in 3-4 weeks and happily move on to other games until the season resets than have it stretched out for three months. I have mostly backed away, but it still requires checking in and making sure nothing got added that I could miss. That, for me, creates moments when I start to play and then immediately get frustrated with how little is worth doing.
-
Plus when was the last time we actually had a conclusion lore wise? So many stories unfinished.
-
8 AntwortenWhat? Do you not like a god roll sniper with hip fire grip and slide shot?
-
So it's not enough loot it's the fact the stuff you want isn't dropping.
-
Theres not enough content to keep playing, the game is literally saturated with legendary drops. Gear is not an issue, chasing silly repetitive bounties and running round in circles is a bigger issue than any loot loss.
-
7 AntwortenThis concept is wild to me. Loot is great but I play games because they’re fun. Running out of loot would not stop me from playing a game I like. Halo CE and H2 were simpler times. People were stocked just to play other people on LAN or XBL.
-
10 AntwortenHaha you don't play d2 for loot....when will people learn. Play it for fun maybe like I do. Everyone seems to be using different load outs.
-
I think there was an ok amount of new stuff. The problem is that it only comes from two places, Europa or wrathborn hunts. The later of which is in the season pass anyway lol. Completely agree the whole armor roll thing is poorly implemented. Get a high stat roll piece...drops at 57. Get a high discipline stat...9. It’s so bad!
-
title says it all drop rates are crap and most the time it's armor with shit rolls or weapon with a shit perk pool.
I agree that there isn’t enough to grind for but the worst part about it is there there isn’t any fun Replayable content on the game anymore. (Menagerie is a good example) Yes I want stuff to bring for but more importantly I want fun replayable content

2 AntwortenIt doesn't help that they're trying to remove all the perks that actually help us kill faster. Kill clip, rampage, reload perks, all being slowly phased out in favour of a couple of decent perks like wellspring and surplus but mostly crap like osmosis which serves little purpose.
-
15 AntwortenThere's plenty of loot. Blame all those that wanted a GRIND with randomized perks and stat rolls
