It's pretty clear that the studio implemented "sunsetting" without an actual plan.
I literally have, in my vault, everything that's being "re-issued", yet I'm expected to play tired content to get them again?
How on Earth does that make ANY sense to anyone over there at HQ?
Yall are doing it wrong and literally everyone but you can see it.
Please, right the ship.

Its pretty clear to me that after realizing the initial release of D2 was a failure that these morons have had no clue whatsoever, let alone something as grand as a plan.
-
They have a level of disconnect from what makes their own game good that I just cant fathom.
-
Well the people behind D1 got booted before it released, the ownership only wants profits, they demand a gimicky, gambling type product to bring in cash and the dev team is simply trying to make their overlords happy. No one at bungie even remotely cares about us, which is exactly why they now give the game away. New people playing a game we paid for are more likely to buy silver.
-
Preach it
-
Sad story too.
-
Yes it is, and people on these forums dont even realize that some of us have been in here for years trying to get bungie to care. They dont though, and by the time they do (only when it fails completely) it will be too late.

Bearbeitet von GRAVEL: 1/16/2021 4:18:42 AMWhile I agree, if by too late you mean, "ten years of printing money with little to no effort put forth"... than yeah, you're right.
-
True, but let me ask you this, will you buy a new bungie IP at that point?
-
No. I dislike bungie as a collective. I think their business practices are not consumer friendly. Their community team has nothing to do with community. Probably most annoying though is that the game and gamers are not their top priorities. I wasn't a microsoft-man so I wasnt won over (and rolled over) for bungie back in the halo-dayz. Destiny is my first bungie experience and I think their handling of the franchise is criminal. After this, I may never play a bungie game again. Their not salt of the earth, they're salted earth. Nothing grows. Destiny has continually shrunk and regressed. I love destiny and it makes me sick that I do. It plays and looks great on ps5. Amazing. But I really can't support this unscropulous crap. It's bad for games.
-
You just described me, aside from the halo stuff, which i did play. So, bungie plays destiny out this way, get some money, but loses everything on the other side because we remember.
-
I'm sorry.
-
Couldn't agree more.
-
True story.

Blame Pete Parsons.
I also believe you have yet to see our studio’s best work.
Absolutely. There have been several occasions I thought, about Smith, "where the hell is this guys boss in all this?!"
