TWAB? Re-issue and regrind of the SAME WEAPONS IS CRIMINAL! Raise the old power level
This disrespect to our time is unbelievable. You have any idea how hard some of us grinded for godroll Waking Vigil or Retold Tale? And now you're going to make us re-grind them AGAIN without raising the power level on our originals?
You guys really just want your players to hate you huh? You ARE NOT LISTENING TO YOUR COMMUNITY!
Maybe by the time I get a godroll of the re-issues, I'll be able to use them for a month before they sunset again. Unbelievable.

Who cares? Unless you using it in a activity that requires 1250 or above light the "sunset" doesn't matter. Besides the reissues all have new perk pools with the potential to be better than the originals.

Smart choice on there part. Cause the small minority of people that kept that crap cause just suck it up and regrind it like the rest of us... or dont it's your choice! 1 AntwortenIts an absolute joke. I've been giving benefit of the doubt this season, reissuing weapons we had that have been around for 2 years is so damn lazy. More so in a game like this, they should actively be making new weapons to be added...the whole damn point is acquiring new and cool gear in destiny. Its actually beyond brain dead the decision making, i couldnt care if they sunset if they add a whole new catalogue of unique weapons. Not reskinned ones with different stats/paint either you lazy priks.

This recycling laziness is way outta hand and you need to start creating NEW things and stop bringing back old stuff that we payed for YEARS ago... We are essentially being scammed. If you just raise the powercap of gear from DC/Moon, then why bother having the places there? By doing it this way it gives you a REASON to do something you probably haven't done in god knows how long, I know I'm excited to go back into the Shattered Throne again.

Would you rather they not returned them at all? I get why you would be mad for having to go back out there to get back that great retold tale you had sharded after hearing about it being sunset. I sharded Bertha before the time came. She was a good shotgun, both in pvp and pve. I'm just glad that I can use this as a reason for my brothers to get back on and help me with some raid runs.

No one wanted this. Even the people who defended sunsetting didn’t want this specifically. This is a bad execution plain and simple. Bungie should be embarrassed by this. Bungie showing no sign of realizing how utterly tone deaf and desperate this is should be a huge red flag to everyone.

Two big issues I don’t see people talking about is the light-capped gear will still drop and only a portion of the old weapons are coming back.

Some of us said months ago , when Bungie started "talking" about sunsetting gear what this meant was 1 or 2 new weapons and the rest would be recycled..... Thr 3 "R's" of Destiny recycle , reuse , and rehash........ You know what I've been playing some older Bungie games and having fun doing so ...... Yesterday I was killed by a traffic cone was absolutely hilarious . The cone was sent flying my direction by an exploding Warthog... Today I had a grunt tell me that I was not suitable to suck on a nipple when was the last time you heard an AI react to your character like that ?

Been saying this for a while now. Less weapon drops, weapons and armor level up through attaching mods and components. Example: lvl 1060 gun needs barrel x, frame y, sight w and materials to be a 1260 version of itself. Perks come from the mods you find. More power and wild perks come from rare sources. This means people must farm multiple locations (barrel x comes from Nessus Cabal elites, frame y from taken in the EDZ). Perk op? The component works up to a certain level. Replace it with perk n from frame y. The same goes for armor. Need more mobility? Look for actuator z from vex minotaurs in strikes. More resilience? Shaxx has a plasteel plating component for rank 4 and above. Looking for your favorite Suros red dot sight? Order from the gunsmith and bring back weapon wednesdays! Granted this would be a monsterous undertaking, but imagine a world where everyone keeps their favorite gun, but they have to work to maintain its level relevance. Updated components could contribute to an overall light level; new weapons and armor with components built in could offer a different but shorter route. The tradeoff? New gear has random perks, new components provide perks you want. If a component has to retire for whatever balance reasons, you could attach a newer, possibly better perk instead. Imagine installing Auto Loading Holster on a slow ass rocket launcher that hits like a truck. I think that would be a win/win for Bungie (omg make an icon an assign a value to it for season of the _____ !) and for us; it makes the most out of destinations by making players find their upgrades out in the wild instead of turning in a purple hexahedron for a possible 1 point boost.

Any weapon you have in your inventory that you have to grind for again should already be a reissue. So stupid.
