Just finished my first raid!!!
Title says it all. It's 3 am (real gamer hour) and we just best the deep stone crypt which is the first raid I've ever completed in destiny (and I been playing since day one)
I don't like using lfg's so only play with my mates. Getting everyone on is hard sometimes and because we rarely raid we generally suck major balls. But today we smashed it and I feel so good.
I feel good but it's also a bit soul crushing. On the final boss we managed to get him to a sliver of health on the first run then proceeded to spend the next 4 hours failing repeatedly before beating it.
Dunno why I'm writing this... Just wanted to share. The guns are awesome too btw kinda sucks they will be sunset this time next year but that's another topic.

For all its poor QOL, grind to protect end game activities and lack of new content that is D2s downside, beating a raid with a team is an awesome experience very few games provide. I play team sport in RL and it’ (can be) quite a similar feeling to pulling off a set play and/ or coming up with a plan to beat a team that has beaten you before and pulling it off. Not everyone has to be a superstar but everyone does need to play their role, communicate well and look to cover each other’s weaknesses. Playing a raid with a group of toxic $:$:;$@@s off LFG is also quite a unique experience too.

Its a good intro raid for new light players. For veteran players like myself, I find it oddly boring. What they did right was make it a very farmable raid and easy Sherpa.

Congrats!! It's a fun Raid. My Clan and I run it quite a few times a week. I got my 21st completion the other night and have taken 13 Guardians through DSC for their 1st ever Raid completion in D2. It can be frustrating at times but hearing the excitement in someone's voice when Taniks crumbles more than makes up for it. Way to go for sticking it out to the end!!

Congrats. Crypt is the only raid I have actually been interested in running since Wrath. It’s not too complicated but still requires enough team work to have some challenge to it. Very well done raid.
