Smgs need a mag size buff simply for the controller pvp. U get one kill per mag on average. Imagine if autos had 15 rounds or hand cannons had 8 rounds. And back up mag adds 3 to smgs. Not enough to even tickle a guardian. So plz either bump the mag size to around 45-50 or significantly drop recoil on console. Since a mag size bump would probably make them way to strong on pc I recommend a recoil decrease. These weapons already have to compete with shotguns and side arms in range. (which both can get 3-5 kills per mag)

I feel like SMGs are in a good place currently, although I do agree with you that backup mag needs a buff when it’s used on any primary weapon type other than hand cannons.

Controller SMG is, literally, like playing drunk. It's the only weapon I NEED to mod for. Any other weapon is fine. Jus readjust & time your shots & allow for reload time. But SMG are jus a constant fight against aiming at the moon 😉

I love SMGs in PvE so yeah, buff the hell outa them. More! Bullets More! Range More! Stability (less recoil).

SMGs should easily have 35 in the mag at minimum, 40 or slightly more at max, with backup mag or magazine perks like appended mag.

I don’t care about them in pvp but it is very frustrating running out of 750 rpm smg ammo left and right in pve all the time

3 AntwortenFriction fire can take out 6 or 7 thrall in a legend lost sector with 1 mag and the recoil is easy to control using a controller on console.

I was also looking at aggressive frame impact and it somehow does less than the friction fire one despite no ammo increase? Why does bungie increase recoil and fire rate and leave magazine the same with lower impact? The LMG get bullet hoses with higher rof, but all smg have same mag size from what I’ve seen.

mag no bigger than 41 for base. recoil does need work. accuracy also.

3 AntwortenThe HC mag sizes have always drove me nuts. I get it’s a space fantasy and supposed to be too realistic. But 13+ makes no sense. Hawkmoon has 8 and it’s fine.
