Shattered Throne and Pit of Heresey are some of the best content in the game but I have no reason to play them anymore with their gear having been sunset. If Forsaken and Shadowkeep weapons could get a prolonged sunset cap Id like to see the pinnacle reward rotate between all 3 dungeons weekly. Also the same with raids I havent touched them since they nerfed the mods so to have a reason to play Last Wish and GoS would be nice

This is a great idea. Rotating pinnacle between dungeons and raids
-
3 AntwortenOr they could just give us pinnacles for all the dungeons
-
1 AntwortenEven if all 3 had Pinnacles I still wouldn't play them, pinnacle cap is a waste of time even with many sources.
-
2 AntwortenTo be honest, anything that stayed after the DCV should have been brought forward to the current cap. That means moon gear and dreaming gear should have been brought forward, and not just the raid stuff.
-
And hard mode for guaranteed pinnacles all the time
-
This is an Easy and Logical Fix. Everything that didn’t get put into the DCV gets Updated and can be infused. But that’s too easy for Bungie HQ. There’s a common denominator here and they just happen to be lead director.... Weird Going to stop here before I get banned for saying the obvious Truth.... Again.

Great idea bud 👍🍻

1 AntwortenLet each one have a weekly pinnacle. Let's not encourage Bungie to be stingy with the rewards.
-
Patrols, too, so I can have them, too.
-
Pit is free prisms and cores but I agree that Shattered Throne kinda got thrown aside
-
and while we are at it, let's get bungie to add the trials weapons with random rolls to the prophecy loot pool. I'm tired of getting hoosgows, ikelos handcannons, death adders etc from a pinnacle activity.
-
1 AntwortenTotally. GoS and LW are still harder than any pinnacle source at the moment I think so why not make them rewarding!
-
1 AntwortenGood idea too hard for the devs
-
2 AntwortenBe great if they added new unique loot to them, put em in rotation and gave us a reason to play them. Theres a lot of stuff thats just useless...the well in the dreaming city, etc
-
Yes please add Pinnacles and unique loot to Dungeons! I mean come on these amazing assets can't be made just for a few seasons only?!
-
No, new content always pinnacle, legacy content rotate.
-
2 AntwortenNot thanks. Prefer to run the new. Out with the old. Dont want to be force to run old raids im tired of.
-
Put contest mode for additional reward for weekly rotation

I've been thinking a LOT about this honestly. Pit of Heresy and Shattered Throne should receive their own unique loot pools similar to Prophecy. Taken themed rewards from Shattered Throne would be epic. Reprisals of Stolen Will and Dreadfang from D1 could drop in Shattered Throne, with a new Taken themed armor set potentially? Pit of Heresy could then drop reprisals of Blasphemer, Apostate, and Heretic, plus some additional Scarlet Keep themed gear. A Scarlet Hive themed armor set would be badass too. I would love a season that would focus on something like this. Refreshing the old dungeons and the two raids. Here's what I'd do to the raids in specific, as feedback has been hot for them lately. -Reintroduce Hard mode with new mechanics in each encounter and champions in each encounter. -Bring in new weapons for the Hard Raids.(Around 3 is good) -Catalysts for their respective Exotics drop from the final encounter of Hard modes. -Adept drops of weapons from the end of a Hard Raid. -Intrinsic Perks for the weapons that help them in certain parts of their respective Raids. -Armor ornaments, similar to the ones in the D1 raids. -Refresh perk pools for the LW and GoS weapons, giving them their own special perks like DSC has. -For lesser skilled players, introduce a 'Beginner mode' raid, with simpler mechanics and less loot than Normal and Hard modes, and no limit on Resurrections. Think of it as Beginner mode, and it would release a couple weeks after the Raid releases. So that players that only do the Easy mode wouldn't be able to earn the coveted Raid Jackets. It would be a great way to get more casual players to want to engage in endgame. If we can get a season dedicated to Gambit Prime, and one where part of the focus was on a PvP endgame mode, we should sure as hell get one dedicated to making the Raid experience more enjoyable.

I agree. Keeping content in the game that rewards already sunset (Forsaken/Shadow keep/Last Wish) gear is terrible. If you're going to keep it, do rotations every week on where pinnacle gear falls between the three raids and the three dungeons. Or, better yet, give old content +1 pinnacle, and keep current content at +2. Make all activities relevant!
-
1 Antwortenwhy rotate, I think giving pinnacle rewards to both raid and dungeons isn't too much to ask like if I choose to play dungeon instead of exo challenge or gambit that requires no less effort
-
2 AntwortenWould rather they have the D1 system for dungeons & raids, have the latest ones (prophecy & DSC) giving pinnacles on normal mode. While a node in orbit for the weekly heroic dungeon/raid is there that awards a pinnacle too. Main change be that all enemies are set to the seasons pinnacle cap

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von BIRB: 12/26/2020 11:00:45 PMYeah it makes no sense to me why this isn’t a thing. One of the biggest if not the biggest criticism for this game is it’s lack of meaningful content, especially now with sunsetting. Here we have actual content, it’s already there in game, but for some reason Bungie refuses to acknowledge it and give people an incentive to play this content. They had it right in the age of triumphs with rotating raids. Many regard it as the peak of d1. I don’t understand why we are going backwards.
-
2 Antwortenwe were forced to play GoS for pinnacles for a whole year already...
-
1 AntwortenPoH and shattered throne both give sunset loot so they need to fix that first

This has been a request ever since the 2nd available raid in D2. This game hasn't been given any development of new systems that would be considered good variety. It's been nothing but chasing pinnacles in the new activities. Despite what people say, 3 months of doing the same thing weekly for power progression will not hold a player for too long. The only time I want to do something in repetition is only for grinding on a specific roll on a weapon/armor. I can understand playing the new raid for a focus on the new thing but it then leads to stagnation if focus for too long. The current model we've been on for two years is: Event, Weapons/Armor, Exotics...and maybe a Raid. The model has been predictable and starved of inspiration with A to S tier lore. I wouldn't want Bungie to think our requests are 'regressions' for this game, because an old system that was liked and missed by the community is not holding back the game, quantity is holding back the game.
