Warmind cells getting destroyed by other guardians is getting annoying.
Can u please disable warmind cells from getting destroyed by other guardians when most of dem don't have a warmind build. It's getting annoying.
Just need to change the colour of cells if it's yours or another guardians when they drop. This would increase my warmind build effectiveness.

Bungie can't do what you're asking without eithe: a. running the risk of there being too many objects and the game crashes., or b. Having to yank those Warmind Cells off the screen to preven **a** from happening, like Bungie does with orbs. So I'd recommend that if you're going to run Warmind Cell builds in matchmade multiplayer activities That you run Solar builds, and expect that other players are going to shoot them. Then save the Void builds (especially) and the Arc Builds for either solo content, or multiplayer content where you're going in with a set fire team and can let other people know to either leave them on teh ground (Void) or allow you to collect them (Arc). Because the fact of the matter is, the game doesn't clearly communicate what build your running to other players, and the pace of the game doesn't give them time to figure it out. So people do the thing most likely to help (shoot them)....and least likely to cause serious problems (shoot them).

10 AntwortenDoes this happen so often it needs to be changed though? Of the time I spent just screwing around with the global reach warmind cells I found people not even knowing they were there in the first place unless it spawned right in front of them. Is this regarding the builds where it lingers on the ground to apply a buff or debuff? If so I think just some visual indication it's doing something would help. Like if it makes enemies take increased damage it shows bullets over them. Or if you take reduced damage while near one the cell has like a shield symbol over it. Otherwise...not really sure what they can do with it, because it's an explosive that offers buffs which gives more incentive to shoot it than to keep it around...even if the buffs are good. Plus it's a glowing orange sphere that drags your eyes to it and seduces your guns.

1 AntwortenThe solution to this is communication. Everyone gets global reach so anyone can shoot a cell if they want. If you have a no mod raid scrub teammate shooting them then say something. Be like hey bud, you're actually hurting us by shooting my cell. If you're worried about strike blub berries though just stop. You don't need a busted warmind cell to be effeicent at strikes.

Agreed I have Warmind Cells set up so they refill my melee and you do extra damage at enemies near them on top of global reach. None of that matters when they're getting blown up by randoms. This just takes away from builds and discourages people from using them.

2 AntwortenThen just shot theirs as well. You get the buffs shooting other cells as well as your own. Since there is no bounties nor quests involving warmind cells and you are running as a Fire TEAM. It's supposed to be about the TEAM not me me me me me me . Note: I admit I would argue differently if there were bounties/quests tied to warmind cells!

Agreed. If you want to collect the cell and teammate destroys it is all too common. Especially when they don’t produce their own. There is a great political joke there...

3 AntwortenWarmind cells are a cool idea but they need refinement like you said. I hate when I kill an enemy and a war mind cell drops but there are no other enemies on the field so I leave it alone because a whole horde of enemies will spawn in a few seconds. Then my idiot team mate blows it up before all the enemies spawn in. This seems to happen all the time. The warmind cells always seem to spawn on the last enemy you kill out of the group so it's either wasted or you have to wait for the next group and hope your allies don't blow it up to soon.

Yes. This is super annoying. Most players done use them...when I have all my armor and two or three weapons dedicated to this playstyle and some dumb blueberry blows it up...it almost always feels like either total ignorance or toxic competition for bounty kills. Don't mess with my cells. Please

4 AntwortenThey do about the same damage as firefly if you blow them up without the mods. If I blow one up, it's like a nuclear blast went off and it heals me and nearby allies.

I don't mind other people destroying my Warmind cells, as long as they have mods. people that shoot Warmind cells without mods equipped are either brainless or trolling.

I hate that too! Mine have extra explosive damage and radius, supresses the enemy and heals everybody. Leave my warmind cells alone!
