Cant Access Extra Content I Paid For
In 2017, I bought Destiny 2 with the expansion pass. It was something in the neighborhood of $100.
I finally got some time to play it for the first time, opened it up about 6 days ago, and had to download a huge update. Like 40 gigs.
I haven’t found much searching except that Bungie made a lot of what I paid for free for everyone? Well, that a sucks for me but is good for them. Fine.
My issue is that in 6 days, I haven’t been able to find any way to start the story/campaigns for those first two expansions I prepaid for with the pass. And I’d really like to play them for the first time.
All I can find in-game are short teasers missions for new expansions that ask me to fork over more money.
I feel like I’m missing something and I can’t find any direct contact info for support from Bungie.

2 AntwortenSo you paid $100 for a game, then didn’t play it for 3 years, and now you wonder why what you bought 3 years ago is no longer available? There is plenty to complain about, but not this.

Back in 2019, with the launch of the Shadowkeep DLC, the game was transitioned to New Light, giving all players the base game and first 2 expansions for free. This was to open the doors for more players to join and experience Destiny. Then recently with the release of the Beyond Light DLC, the first 2 expansions and vanilla campaign storyline were vaulted. Bungie announced this several months ago and has provided ample information about what was going away, when, and why.
