When bows have overload, no issue you can just chip away at them but Scouts and ARs take far too long to stun in solo play.
Divinity stuns them immediately which is great but takes about an hour to kill one.
All of this wouldn’t be nearly as frustrating if the game wasn’t filled with inconsistencies like champion triggering the stun noise and then carrying on to attack you anyway. I’ve seen Unstoppable Champions do it too but no where near as frequently as Overloads.
There is also a part of the Bunker E15 LS where an Overload will teleport into a wall that prevents you from damaging him. The Wyvern in the LS also does this too!
I enjoy the challenges that champions represent in endgame but when they’re clearly bugged and your weapons let you down, not so much!
Fix please!

Barrier champions are a way to recycle old content and Bungle does not care if it isn’t fun. They just have their pet streamers post that we just need to get good and stop whining. I don’t whine, I just don’t give them any more money.

Bearbeitet von C1B3D: 12/3/2020 12:02:20 PMThe inconsistency as a whole is way too present in Destiny 2. Destiny 2 is the most inconsistent game i have ever played. You can do everything the same, everything right and still get punished because of bullshit. Overloads like other champions are not different, its just more visible on them because they are a bigger threat compared to other enemies, you get punished faster and more lethal also. I think the way weapons work on them is fine, instant interrupt would be op, grenades actually work fine on them, the inconsistency is tied to grenades, things like Coldsnap can disappear completely.

1 AntwortenWhen you use divinity, keep at it until the bubble shows up. Finish it off with a sword Scout with ER stuns them instantly as well Ice bubble grenade stubs immediately as well, and when paired with surge eater and thermal overload, you constant grenades and they don’t move at all
-
Did you know that when you freeze them it removes the disruption from overload as well? So they immediately start healing. Lol makes the thermal overload grenade mod a joke.
-
Do you even Anarchy bro?
-
3 AntwortenYou’re kinda right, but you dont want it too easy. Do you? There are overload grenade mods you can use that keep overload champions stunned for a while. Check them out.
-
1 AntwortenIDK what your using but overload grenades and a sword makes quick work of any, I usually just clear a room with a warmind cell then sneak over and stun the champion with a surprise grenade to back for a free kill.
-
8 AntwortenDo you also use scouts and ARs against raid bosses? We NEED hard to kill enemies now and then. DO NOT USE low damage weapons vs them. I generally witherhoard and slow grenades on them and finish off with super or heavy ammo. Get creative instead of coming on here crying that your scout cant take down a tank! USA A BAZOOKA ON THE TANK
-
Surge eater and thermal overload mods work great coupled with Glacier Grenades and shatterdive makes very short work of overload and unstoppable champions. Hardly even use your weapons if you do it right. If you can get near on 100% uptime on nades you are a beast and NO champion will ever bother you again... lol

2 Antwortenscouts don't take long. 3/4 shots and they are stunned. Helps if you aim and actually hit them. Brownie points if you can hit the head.
-
Takes an hour to kill one? Youre doing it wrong. Stun then DPS with your heavy weapon or special. Thats how teams do it on Master difficulty. Team work makes the dream work.
-
Are you accounting for their spawn time? Because that's a thing.......... If you do it as they spawn it won't work.
-
2 AntwortenUse a twin taled fox rocketlauncher, rips him to shred in 2 shots and prevents his heal (void rocket is essentially a suppresor nade)
-
Divinity + Guillotine is my go-to for dealing with Overloads. The crit bubble lingers just long enough that you can switch to your sword and hit em with a heavy attack.
-
6 Antwortenare you mfs dpsing the champions WITH the gun you use to stun them? Do you only have one gun
-
The only success I’ve had when killing these champions is stunning and using guillotine. Guillotine rips them to shreds, but choosing how to stun them is the challenge. Divinity if you don’t mind a slower run.
-
I use stasis grenade with the artifact mod for disruption, GH god roll with overload mod. I stun them and get on them with FG and it’s over pretty quick. Just make sure you clear ads around them first then take them on.
-
Huh? I use a full auto scout with vorpal.. Stuns them easy, finish with a sword.
-
Duskfield and scout overload... it’s that easy...
-
It gets worse, when the champion servitor makes the overload champion + minions immune and two shots from a Vandal or Overload chumpion and it's adios Ace.
-
I did the cosmodrome legendary lost sector for the exotic helmet. I'm using overload scout and void grenades. I'm burning through them.
-
just run the class item seasonal mods were solar and stasis grenades overload, and overloading a champion completely refreshes your grenade. I suggest duskfield grenades they seem to work the best and last the longest plus they freeze them. also sweet business could be good with overload. my problem is overload doesn't always work. there are plenty of times i overload a champion but they continue shooting despite being stunned.
-
When you need “sustained fire” to disrupt/stagger a champion but the champion teleports so often that you cannot sustain fire upon the champion. . .
-
you can freeze overloads too you know

Running perdition sucked. The second OC is tankier than the first. I used Braytech Horror and it took almost a full mag for the first. The second one made me backpedal clear to the mission start room on 2-3 reloads. He just kept refreshing on teleport I guess.
