New Raid weapons are great and the perks are awsome how about some of that love for non raiders. For example that new rocket launcher is unreal. How about having a quest to reaquire the Gjallarhorn for the rest of us...........who dont Raid

7 AntwortenGjallarhorn for NOT doing a raid? Well there's an idea! Hey universe, give me free stuff cause I don't do anything!
-
Honestly I have no issue with raid weapons. If I want to go after them I will. But this sunset has just neutered pretty much everything else.
-
No, best gear should be behind hardest activities, that's how MMOs work. Besides it takes like 5 minutes to find team.
-
All that I want is a bigger focus on smaller scale content that still has difficulty. Give us more endgame lost sectors/dungeons. Maybe even an endgame activity or two that is explicitly solo or something like the Maelstrom Arena from ESO.

2 AntwortenHey I don't wanna do endgame pve, but I want rewards that match up to them. Hey I don't wanna do trials of Osiris, but would like some adept weapons and trials armor from playing 6v6 control

5 AntwortenGoS pretty much turned me off to raiding. I had one finish, got Divinity, never ran it again. The mechanics on top of mechanics were just getting to be too much. I loved leviathan, it seemed tough at first (when no one had any idea how to handle dogs, their paths, or had the map memorized and it was just a mess of people running around) but once you knew the mechanics it was very straight forward. You had one thing to do at a time, not clear adds and help rebuild platform and watch the cyclops and all this while the boss shot at you. With more practice and people with better techniques I'm sure it got better, but at that time I just was done. From what I've heard so far, this raid toned it back down a bit (certain streamers complaining it's too easy and a lot of actual completions, especially in first day challenge mode). I think it might have actually been, more than 5-6% of the population should be getting out there and raiding IMO. I signed up for a raid this evening, I wouldn't mind raiding again if they dialed it down a notch.

14 AntwortenI understand where you’re coming from. The raid exotics in D1 were fun but never over the top. The raid exotics in D2 are literally game-changing. I don’t know how busy your life is but I know it can be a drag to do a raid while working full-time and with family obligations. I think most raids are garbage in D2, but I can run you through vault of glass when that releases in the future.
-
No. That's what LFG is for. I just spent quite a bit of time yesterday, standing up to people who were complaining about the new exotics being "locked" behind content that was designed to be played solo. So I'm not going to endorse Bungie pulling that weapon out of content that was intended to be played with others. If you want the loot, then you have to clear the content required to earn it.
-
They should build more on the solo lost sector stuff for those who don't raid. I farmed for the titan helm yesterday. It was challenging, kinda fun but quick once you perfect your process.
-
They did put out solo Lost Sectors with exotics, cores and challenging enemies in between and they even threw in the Cosmodrome to play around in. Dunno where this recent PvE/soloist griping is coming from outta the blue. Prolly just new players joining in and realizing they actually don’t like the game but want it changed in their image? Idk.

81 AntwortenBearbeitet von Veldrin: 11/27/2020 3:36:51 AMSorry, but raids are really not that hard and they are fun gameplay-wise. If you play Destiny only for the loot, then you play the wrong game. If you never stepped into a raid, then you didn't play destiny.
-
"Hey give me flawless for doing 6v6 crucible!" Yeah, no. If you want good items, do the activities. Don't ask for bungie to give you handouts. But hey, the day I can get every bit of PvE exclusive gear via PvP, you can sure have some handouts!

6 AntwortenWe get a raid once a year... you get new weapons every 3 months They have hardly done any bad to you stop whining
-
They gave y’all nightfall lost sectors. Raise your light and get free loot
-
I think the fact they are giving all the exotic armor and the cloudstrike and lament from easy activities is a good balance.
-
4 AntwortenIt’s amazing after so many years. they still cater so much to the minority of people who raid.
-
I would suggest watching some raid walkthrough guides and getting in there and doing the raid. I don’t like raiding either but I want that rocket launcher. Hopefully I can get it soon because I don’t want to do the raid anymore. I’ll probably just join final boss checkpoint games.
-
Ah yes, because you totally need it to kill lost sector bosses quicker while your grinding bounties. If you want loot built for the endgame, you should have to play it. You got a lightning strike sniper, the best burst dps weapon in the game, and so many good weapons with new perks, so stop complaining you can't get 1 weapon designed to be a hardcore incentive.
-
Gjallarhorn isn't in this game. If they let exotic raid items be rewards from quests it'll be a 3 person activity on par with a GM nightfall.
-
Pve is raiding. Get in there.
-
6 AntwortenI mean, if you only touch PvE, you should at least make an attempt at the raid. And you know that you wouldn't be the only ones to get a special quest, right? Everyone would. The people that raid would get it. And at the end of the day, they still have something you don't, which is raid gear. I get that maybe you don't like to raid, but you can't expect special treatment for it. It's an optional activity, and trying to give people special gear because of activities they choose to opt out of is kinda just... silly. If you knowingly avoid activites that give certain loot, it is your own fault, no?
-
2 Antwortenpve people have the raid. pvp people have trails. if anything the gambit sweats need something besides the one gambit mode
-
This is a joke right?
-
Your joking right
-
You already have The Lament.
-
I wholeheartedly disagree. There is a huge difference between content being locked behind content that is designed to be so difficult that a large part of the player base can't access it and having stuff locked behind moderately challenging yet accessible content that players refuse to do. If you want the thing you have to do the thing.
