They can create some decent stuff if they have the manpower and will to do it but I just don't know if they are going to. The fact that Luke smith himself said we probably won't ever get anything on the scale of forsaken again truly hurts to hear because that could very easily mean they don't WANT to expand. Forsaken is what I think destiny needs to really become that desirable game it used to be, at least for me and them not going to be able to deliver that is painful to hear. Core activities, a raid, a dungeon, 2 patrol locations, multiple exotics, 9 new supers (7 if you don't count bannershield and spin stick), a weekly changing location (dreaming city), gambit, and most importantly...hope. Hope for the players that felt lost and frustrated in the game. Forsaken was worth every last cent I paid for it and if I'm being honest, I probably would have paid more if I could because it's scale was just on a completely different level for destiny. Shadowkeep was the descent into the darkness and upon finally reaching that point the game is honestly the least interesting to play it's ever been. It was fun for a couple days...but now I'm back to doing the stuff I've been doing since year 1 d2 to get gear which is absolutely heart breaking. I can put up with this kind of stuff for seasonal content because it's only 10$...but besides a new subclass and location we didn't get ANYTHING even remotely close to what forsaken brought but for the exact same price. Luke smith said that beyond light is strictly bigger than shadowkeep...but besides a new subclass and map it feels like a lesser experience than shadowkeep was despite them simply reusing an old map and within 3 days I was done playing on europa. It has no incentive to go there other than to pick up bounties and the weapons only feel fine to use. Their perks are just bland and honestly I cannot say I'm impressed at all. Where are these more powerful legendaries that were supposed to arrive when sunsetting finally came into play? Why is my gnawing hunger and dire promise which are YEARS old equal if not superior to any single weapon I can earn NOW? The amount of loot and power of them is just so completely underwhelming that I can't BELIEVE there were people that bought their nonsense. I KNEW they wouldn't create weapons that were substantial enough to replace our old gear so they decided that the only way to get you to use this crap was to get rid of every single older gun that was in fact superior. Didn't want to create powerful weapons...shit they barely created any at all. I counted 19 legendary additions to our loot pool this season (light.gg, I know raid weapons aren't shown)with season of the hunt and reskinned weapons being part of the equation. The content they created is nice but gear IS destiny and without any substantial amount of it the game just cannot remain enjoyable for me. I didn't expect beyond light to be forsaken but man I wish it was because destiny really could have used something that substantial or at least on a somewhat comparable level after so much build up. If the seasonal content is what's stopping them from ever creating something substantial again...I can't say I will continue to support the game, not like this. I always enjoy coming on the forums to talk to people and write out my stupid ideas but this has been more fun than actually playing the game i paid for which is just sad. I like destiny so much but I just can't support the direction the game is going nor it's how it's being handled in a manner that I feel comfortable. I was a fool to purchase the bundle that gave me the dlc and the seasons because I'm not getting anything equivalent to the standard the price once set. This feels like warmind but with a new super for double the price. I don't know what to do with destiny anymore. I don't WANT to quit because I want to keep playing it...but they just aren't giving me anything to do where I can really FEEL their passion. I can only feel their d2 year 1 passion which was 2 tokens and a blue.

You guys are like a broken record, every single DLC you guys just chat shit instead of giving constructive criticism. Give tips on how to fix the game, don’t just say that the story is awful and that bungie should sell the IP.

You people really will do anything in your anecdote driven power to avoid admitting that your lack of passion for the game is largely due to your own problems. The game has gone a direction you don't like? Get over yourself and find something new, it's that simple.

I agree this game is completely -blam!-ed stasis abilities were a complete Trainwreck, it finally destroyed PVP it was bad before but now it's an absolute dumpster fire instead of fixing Crucible it gets worse with every season riddles with cheaters and half-ass ideas time to move on Bungie sale to gearbox they probably do a better job.

I don’t think anything you said is right. They have time, money and man power. But NONE of it feels like it’s in the right places. Time/Focus should have been on keeping and innovating the core activities players loved. But instead they’re experimenting with stuff. Money should go towards getting servers paying the devs for overtime. Instead...who knows where tf that money goes. Man power should be on fixing what was and is broken, than updating activities and our loot, THAN making new content. Instead they’re fomoing everything. Nonstop moving on to different thing before anything is right with what we have....had😔 They need to shift gears, new management, everyone needs to move like one mind/body/same page....or yeah....quit.

I’m going to play this game, and keep playing this game until it dies. What I say to bungie right now is to keep doing your best the game is fun to play maybe just expand the loot pool a bit for now and balance stasis ( or make the lore say that shax has refused to allow darkness into the crucible) keep it up bungie keep trying

You have to wonder how smooth 1 persons brain can be that they think telling the company to quit making the game they’ve made for 7 years now, instead of considering the thought of quitting the game themselves, makes more sense.

Sunsetting really shutdown my interest honestly. I tried Beyond Light on Gamepass. Stasis is cool. Europa is beautiful, and as a Lost Planet fan, it has a lot of appeal to me. Unfortunately, sunsetting just overshadows it all.

Imagine listening to some random and selling off a highly profitable IP. The only thing wrong with Beyond Light was the lack of new weapons, 1 Strike, vendor refreshes, and not separating the PvE/PvP sandbox. Some of these can easily be fixed and the other is sadly 100% Bungie at it's most moronic. The Campaign is the best to date, Europa is the most detailed Destiny location ever, the Lost Sectors are good content, the new exotics are the best in years, high value target lives matter, the lore and story is the best since Taken King, and Stasis is cool. There are still new things unlocking too.

They need to work with High Moon again as High Moon was the one that made the better aspects.

We should have had a AOT update and gone into D3 this year. Would have perfectly align with the new consoles.
