Lost sectors aren’t difficult, they are annoying as hell. When I am only 10 light below the recommended light I shouldn’t be getting one shot by the champions. The champion, FU** THE CHAMPIONS, god the overload champion makes me want to uninstall the game, they piss me off to no end. Half I’m of the time I try to stun an overload, they don’t get stunned, I can’t tell you how many times I lost a lost sector because this game sucks at detecting that I threw a grenade at the overload, it’s annoying. And even when I finally get a stun off I CANT KILL THEM, you know why, because they are really tanky, and when they are Unstunned there is like a 6 second timer where they can’t get stunned, so your helpless! you can’t have insane regen and insane health at the same time, it’s unfair.
The lost sectors have two types of champs, barrier and overload. Which would be fine if one weapon could stun them both, but none can! So I’m forced to use a pulse for barriers and grenades for overloads, which good luck if you miss a grenade, you might as well restart the lost sector. You can only get the new exotics from doing them solo, which only makes things more irritating. It’s also annoying to get 1 shot by virtually everything in there. Even the trash mobs are extremely hard to kill, what is this balancing. I can’t imagine trying to do this without anarchy or truth teller, it would be impossible.
Lost sectors are cool and all but they have been such a big part of your game since shadowkeep, I’m sick of doing them, and you making them the ONLY way to get the new exotics makes me angry, lost sectors were apart of so many quests in shadowkeep, and now they’re this important.
TL;DR: lost sectors were annoying before, but now that they are the ONLY way to get the new exotics that they advertised to no end pisses me off, especially since they are some of the most poorly balanced things in the game right now.
If a bungie dev sees this can you do a few things
- make overload champions have less health when I stun them, they have health regen, one shot me, and they are hard to kill, the #1 run killer
-Make it so you can get the new exotics from quest drops and raid drops, this way you still have to work for them, but you can have fun and play with other people while doing it
- lost sectors are cool, but stop making them so integral, you could make a weekly objective that complete 5 lost sectors on Europa or something, but nothing like exotics
- adjust the light, right now there are 2 ways your lost sector experience is, you either get one shot by everything or you don’t, make the light despairing less harsh please.
That’s it, do any of those and I would be a happy camper.

I see your 32 LL under 1250 Just use thermal and surge mods Its super easy and simple once you get the hang of it Remember I said 'once you get the hang of it' My 1st run was a fail My second run 13 minutes My third 8 minutes Now I'm banging em out in 5- 7 mins I'm yet to try the 1280 But it'll be exactly the same once my LL is a bit higher Above the challenge Most of those exotics arnt all that bar the warlock guantlets Just because utubers go on about them They play destiny as a job 15 to 20 hours a day so it really doesn't matter what they use.....the video is completely mis leading I used to compete years ago at the 15 to 20 hours a day level It didn't matter what gun or armour I used .....playing in pubs , everything got destroyed....thats the point

I'm glad I wasted 70 bucks on this garbage that's catered to 1% of the player base. I've done one attempt and I already don't care if I ever complete one. divinity is overload, auto rifles are, scouts are... plenty of overloads.

I wish bungie made it like forsaken where the world drop rates were super low but high level content gave them more. I really don’t care about exotics being cool or special because the moment two people have the same exotic it’s worth nothing, it was only kinda cool in d1 because the quests were hard and barely dropped.

Use an overload aoe grenade like duskfield or solar grenade to disrupt

Use overload AoE grenade that recharges your entire grenade. Duskfield overloads 3x in 1 duration. Overloads are easy.

2 AntwortenFrom what I can gather: 1. Your 1230, too low 2. Don't use Anarchy for Overload Champions. 3. Use a Sword(FG, or a sword with Whirlwind/Relentless. 4. Anarchy is better against Barrier champions. 5. Get to 1240-45 like your Hunter. Much easier.

I just took a video of me dumping 2 clips of my scout rifle into one and not staggering it, only for it to turn around and one shot me. I’m all for a challenge, but make sure your damn mechanics work before implementing them, Bungie. Please. Oh. And when I finished it the second run, platinum champion rewards? I got a blue sword. So. -blam!- me I guess lol

Hang in there and play slowly but not to slow. I ran it on my hunter and warlock yesterday, 6 runs on my hunter to get gauntlets and 3 on my warlock I think. Hunter at 1235 and warlock at 1230. I used Izanagis and ikelos smg with anti barrier. and fallen guillotine, I never had too much trouble, died a few times but always got the chest. Make sure your using the artifact mods to allow your grenade to disorient and the other regens your grenade when you disorient a champion. A couple sniper salvage and extra sniper ammo mods and good to go. Yesterday I stayed in the tunnel at the entrance to the boss room and sniped him with the extra damage shots from izanagis. Let the adds come to you and back down the tunnel, if it’s a champion back down around the corner, it will follow you down, when you see it’s shadow real close toss your nade at the corner and kill it with the sword. Good luck man, you got this.

They’re not hard just boring as hell. This season will be remembered as the season of solo run lost sectors. How pathetic is that? $50 expansion and the best we get is to run lost sectors over and over + on top of that we have to run them solo when destiny is a team oriented game (which is what makes it fun in the first place). Idc what anyone says this is by FAR the worst expansion ever released (which is saying a lot with expansions such as CoO and TdB). Bungie has officially lost any respect I had for them and it’ll be satisfying to watch them crash and burn after this.

Comes across as lag I guess in crucible but I have had times where I have point blank shot someone in the face and they have taken zero damage. Also doing a hunt yesterday I was shooting the boss with xenophage and I noticed a couple shots did zero damage like it was firing blanks for no apparent reason

Every damn time I'd throw a grenade, it teleports. And I do mean everytime. Every time I get a gun on it, it teleports. Instead of nerfing us, nerd the god damn teleporting. If we were to do the same as them, they would be up in arms.

If you go in properly equipped, the new lost sectors are easy. I ran the 1250 on yesterday at 1240 with cold denial, divinity and falling guillotine. Anti barrier pulse in arms, 2x concussive dampener on chest and the two seasonal mods on my class where solar nades stuff overloads and refresh nades on stunning champions. I got all 3 new gauntlets last night.

Tbh I lost a lot of excitement when I learned solo lost sectors were the only way to get new exotics. Like I enjoy playing with my friend so why can’t we have the option to do them together? I like the idea that there is now a option for solo players to farm but I think the new exotics should also be possible world drops as well for those of us who don’t play solo as much

I use a scout to disrupt the first time, that keeps them still long enough to grenade them to keep them still, then run in with sword and finish them off. Not 100% but works most of the time. Been using the Black Talon a lot for these lost sectors, works really well!
