I'm happy to see Variks return, but I can't stand his new tic! Every time he does his insect-like chittering (or whatever it's called in subtitles), all I can think of is Boss Nass from Star Wars. It was fine at first, but he does it almost every single line. This is my only criticism of Beyond Light so far.
