I am not really fan of these small content drops for 40 bucks type of expansions. Destiny was the game for me when it was in full force releasing multiple planets, multiple strikes, crucible maps multiple raids in a year.
I didn't even want to raid anymore because it was just 1 raid that gave you power boost. I mostly login did some bright dust bounties, did some dungeon clears then bored from that as well and eventually in year 3 Destiny become a game for me where i just grind bright dust and buy stuff from eververse with that currency.
In Forsaken year, i used to login every Tuesday do the raids, do the nightfalls and then do some menagerie or forge grinds till i pass out. I wouldn't even bother with bounties.
Sorry Bungie but might be making the Destiny you want, but you are not making the Destiny we ever wanted. I'll be skipping Beyond Light. Hopefully you got something better for September or November 2021.

The game took 3 major hits when 1. Luke Smith was given another opportunity to lead destiny after his massive failure at launch. 2. Bungie lost activision which actually was a huge loss due to 2 studios who are arguably better at making destiny that Bungie are. We now have a second rate game director and no backing from activision.
