Is no one going to talk about how dominant autos are in pvp?

It's a console thing namely due to bad controls... Or a 6v6 thing because chaotic gamemode. Really, the best ways to fix it are to indirectly buff hand cannons on console by fixing the controls (maybe reducing the console recoil to KB/M levels), and maybe reducing 6v6 to 5v5. They don't need any massive nerfs beyond that.

They basically have to do this to make us chase some new weapon(s). Here is the typical cycle. -There is always a meta, It is always sniper, shotgun, sometimes fusion rifle, sometimes SMG, plus usually either hand cannon, pulse, scout or AR). It is different on PC and console. -People here always complain about the meta -Bungie always changes the meta, then there is then a new meta -People here then complain about the new meta and talk about how the previous meta was better That's been the cycle since the beginning of D1. I still miss Tlaloc...... If you want to talk about dominance, look at shotguns and snipers. Here are the top Trials weapons last week. Notice how there is only one AR in the top 4 and only two AR's in the top 7. Also notice how a hand cannon is at #4. The only 3 AR's most would use were 14% of total kills. They are easy kill central. People are running double ARs and doing well. 😂😂😂. Some player in my last match used Gnawing Hunger and Forward Path 😂😂😂. Just spraying with 3 other teammates.

It’s a rolling meta. Hand Cannons were dominant for a long time and now its Auto Rifles.

I love it, autos are my favorite. Rifles of all types except snipers have always been the best. Fvck hand cannons and energy weapons. Double primaries for life biotches.

So what! There will always be a dominant weapon in PVP. All weapons are there to be used by anyone who so wishes to use them. PPl have complained about every weapon type that has at some time been dominant....... I just don't get what the problem is.

Just wait a season or two and they will nerf it. Then there will be a new meta to complain about.

That's how PvP works in Destiny. Bungie makes a weapon type(s) favorable for a while, then they change it up.

It’s because an effective auto is easy to get, easy to use, and are available in both the kinetic and energy slots which does give a bit of variety with respect to what to pair with it. Autos currently work for everyone. Not everyone can use a fusion. Not everyone can snipe, and not everyone can effectively use a shotgun. That brings out the cry babies. At some point they’ll get a nerf without anyone asking to give rise to a scout or pulse. That’s the Bungie cycle.

I love these posts... Dude EVERYONE plus brothers and sisters have posted, talked and cried over the AR meta. Which is still light years better than Yr1 MIDA spam or 2 yr HC nonsense. So yes.. literally everyone has talked about it. Probably won't see a change till Nov.
