So just use guns that suck and give you a large disadvantage. That’s what you’re telling the other guy. Saying just use the new guns even if they are much worse just handicap yourself. See why would people use any weapons that give them a large disadvantage.

New gear is just as good as old - just look at last seasons hits - astral, eye of sol, summoner, dire promise, seventh seraph shotty are all viable - he can use whatever wherever, with retirement we cannot

I mean pvp wise we have gotten new stuff that’s better. Pve our gear hasn’t really changed. Mtn top izzy. Recluse (I guess you can use ikelos if you have a build but recluse is still insane.) Exotic heavies have changed a bit but it’s beem anarchy xenophage for awhile. The one thing we hit of note is the new sword imo

My point is that no one wants to use weapons that give them a massive disadvantage. People are drawn to the meta. The problem comes when we take into account that the game has been power creeped so hard that the most more powerful weapons can’t be added anymore the best gear has been the best for months and months. So when anyone anti sunsetting says “ just use new guns on your own nothing is stopping you” you’re just asking is to not use meta and to handicap ourselves or throw.

Astral is just as good as mindbender Dire is just as good as rations Sacred is just as good as blast furnace Summoner is just as good as gnawing So you or the guy I was responding to can enjoy the new stuff, × player who loves his old stuff can run around and use his oldies and both are level, both are having fun with what they choose and we get a more diverse playground then just being forced to use new stuff
