I agree and disagree, but I understand how you feel. I just now delete D2 because while attempting solo whisper heroic I’d be at the boss fight and die a couple times, and it would spawn me at the jumping puzzle (the room where xol says “you will drift”) or spawn me literally at the very beginning. I’d still have 10 min left. But really?! Effing done! Hope changes come to your liking everyone! This titan just gave up his light 🤘

The power is there...but there is no sense of POWER-PROGRESSION in the game right now...and that is POISON to a loot game. Plus its also why Sunsetting is essential. What most of the community simply doesn't want to hear or accept is that the fact that Bungie has let us keep EVERYTHING for the last three years is a large part of why the game is in the state its in right now.... ...and why I keep saying that this game can't survive another three years of letting us keep infusing everything. IOW, because of the broad-spectrum nerfs Bungie made last year, they've gotten power creep under control. The problem is that there are NO sources of power to be gained. They just took the power that was in weapons....spread it to armor(2.0) and Seasonal mods....AND DIDNT' GIVE US ANY NEW POWER TO CHASE. So what you're feeling is that sense of constantly HITTING your head against a power ceiling in the game...that isn't going anywhere. And since there is nothing in the game that is dropping that can allow any of us to get PAST that celing...there is no sense of progression...and a deep sense of POINTLESSNESS to what we're doing. Which is a very dangerous place for loot game to be Becuase if it doesn't move away from that, the game will eventually self-destruct. People will stop chasing the carrot---because it isn't worth catching---and the game is over. Unfortunately, as blade mentions below, WE ARE (in a very real way) right back where we were during vanilla D2. Y1 D2 (because of fixed rolls and dual primaries) made us feel weak and didn't offer any sense of power progression (in tthe name of PvP balance)....and no sense of excitement becasue we were getting most of our loot in the Tower.... Now, in Y3, we're back in a similar place. Back to feeling like there is no sense of power-progression (in the name of controlling power creep and the defending the difficulty of aspirational content)....and no sense of excitement because all the loot has a bland sameness (to control power creep) and we're back to getting most of our loot in the Tower. Which is why I' keep saying that the Weapon system needs an overhaul....and the Loot and Progression systems need overhauled as well. Because we are back to this game surviving on its strenght as an action game, because the RPG is broken. I give Bungie the benefit of the doubt for now, because they lost a third of their workforce going into this year, and the leads of a number of key teams left the company. But they've had a year to address this, and this continuing into Y4 is not acceptable and is not sustainable. But everything Bungie has been saying for the past 6 months seems to indicated that they understand this.

My dude, of course you're going to have a hard time, from what I see you are wearing blue Solstice armor, which is supposed to be underwhelming, but I get it. If you ever need a good sword build look up the newest Arrivals arc mod called Luscent Blade. With the Taking Charge mod this can cause your swords to hit like trucks. Black Talon becomes a behemoth that, when paired with the Oppressive Darkness artifact mod, causes it's blade beam to hit for 42k 4 times in a row! I've been able to finish off most Ordeal bosses single handed all due to these mod pairings.

Thank streamers/PvP for the PvE experience going to shit. Edit: I’ll explain. It has happened time and time again; when a mainstream streamer complains about a weapon then said weapon gets nerfed in the ground to where it’s near useless in PvE. If only Bungie would work harder to split weapon nerfs. So I’ll agree with a commenter that Bungie IS to blame but key spotlight streamers don’t help the cause. I have a close friend that’s a popular streamer and I follow a few others. However, they don’t b1tch and moan but instead offer solutions and builds. There are certain very popular streamers that are also popular Youtubers that tend to ruin it for everybody including other streamers. I was too general with my drive-by comment. Apologies. 🤣😂🤣 at those that got hilariously butt hurt over my comment... I’m a nobody. Anything I say will never have an effect on any mainstream streamer or...anything for that matter lol.

If u ever come back, try putting more of your mods into recov or an ability. Resilience is useless in this game (unless ur going against Thorn) especially in PvE.
