You’re going to have to do something to address the excessive special ammo weapon spam inside PvP. You created this mess, you need to fix it and fast. People are growing tired of getting killed by people who don’t know how to use primaries.
I’m not suggesting we move back to double primaries. I think special ammo is a problem right now tho. I’d suggest bringing it back to how it was in D1 with special ammo crates in PvP.
If you cry about not wanting this change, you’re just showing that you are one of the people who crutch on special weapons.
Sunsetting won’t fix this. This requires your attention!

Nah, buff primary guns.

5 AntwortenPeople are also tired of pvp existing. We all can’t have what we want and have to live with some annoyances because others exist. Also d2 launched for the pvp players and game lost a significant portion of its playerbase due to the dual primary system. Turns out plenty of pvp players don’t like primaries either go figure.

2 AntwortenLol I use Jotunn it’s fun making people angry like you 😂😂😂😂

Special weapons are what made Destiny great. However, I do think the D1 Y3 ammo economy is far better.

It's a fight, it isn't supposed to be fair for you.

I see more auto rifle spam than anything. Although Witherhoard spam can be super rough on certain maps.

This post made everyone dumber

3 Antworten1 No more double scavenger perks in pvp. 2 precision weapons are given 1 extra shot to compensate for the extra skill involved 3 sniper and linear fusion flinch increased and added hip fire sights on snipers 4 intellect is based on kills not stand still super gains

Bearbeitet von Kiro - 13: 8/31/2020 5:47:18 PMSpecial econ is fine, its ONLY revoker that breaks it. Had a trials match 2 days ago and Im on purposely baiting a sniper from the cat walk out side. misses 5 shots. My teammate on beloved seeing this peaks for a second after all these missed shots and gets instant killed. Sure He should have remembered it was Revoker when we check load outs. Sure he should have heard the distinct sound Revoker makes when being fired and identified the weapon by sound. Sure I should have said I was trying to bait him and warn my guy. But those are all excuses for poor sand box updates to target the problem child that is Revoker. Every thing I said was a excuse where you debate how you could have handled it better. But the real one at fault here is Bungie for allowing a one shot precision grant infinite ammo till 2 kills are obtained. And if your unaware hunters get ammo returns on Revoker body shots if we time dodge right. We even get the ammo back on body shot kills! & It breaks titan barriers while returning the bullet. Lastly this meta is the worst I've ever seen and pigeon holes meta load outs more then ever while propagating cheating and recoveries because of the DCV adding exclusiveness with a time lock out. I HATE using this skilless set up of Revoker(or mountaintop to be super skilless) & a god roll galli with season enhanced mods paired with enhanced snipers perks. This season by far requires the least amount of gun skill and I am not alone in this belief. if you say well who thinks that Aztecross for starters. If the goal is a rotating meta ok, I can see that having played alot of pvp. But this would be the "BANT COCO" season if you every played magic the gathering. /END 9K CRITTING WALL OF TXT

Then you’ll just get spam killed by Kinetics. What’s the difference. People are going to use whatever their streaming idols tell them to use.

Disable Scavenger perks in PvP. They're what allow people to snowball with special weapons. Get 1 kill, get 2 bricks at minimum means that a competent player will ALWAYS have special ammo at the ready even if they mess up a shot.

Bearbeitet von Majin_Buu91: 8/31/2020 7:12:33 PMYawn, telling people not to cry while making a cry post about special ammo... guess you cried about heavy ammo to in the past... And PvP doesn’t really matter in this game, but players will always want changes that don’t matter. And yeah i know i suck at PvP but this doesn’t need to be changed...

7 AntwortenFrom my own personal experiences I die to primaries far more often than specials these days usually If I die to a special it's more often than not a sniper but that can be put to my poor positioning or over eagerness to push toward the enemy. I challenge snipers with scouts and pulses win some lose some. Shotties I'll die to if I'm up against a good run and gunner but usually due to my playstyle I'll die to these least often. Fusions again a rarity but have been caught off guard occasionally. Sidearms almost as half often as snipers depending on the map though and due to me running pulses/scouts I'm simply outgunned at close range. Grenade launchers other than the rare me standing in a witherhoard pool like an idiot don't die to them much the occasional MT user but they are few and far between. I'll mainly see gnawing hunger, summoner, beloved & revoker come up in my kill feed than anything. The last 2 again due to my poor positioning or choice to challenge over anything else.

So even more 600 ARs then? Nah, this game will never be balanced.

13 AntwortenMake it so special only drops on primary weapon kills.
-
You’re right, let’s go back to Year 3 of D1.
-
Crates were terrible. Leads to camping and punishes the people who actually use their primaries and specials well together. A better system would be a system where primary kills drop 2 shots with scavenger and special kills only drop a max of one shot. A system like that would reduce special-only streaks significantly (one miss and the streak is over) and greatly reduce the overall generation of special ammo.

Just chiming in here. I also think specials are too prevelant in crucible.

Bearbeitet von dawheat: 8/31/2020 4:02:14 PMBase special ammo is fine in 6v6. Scavenger perks probably could do with a pvp adjustment if they could make one without hurting pve (doubtful). If scavs couldn't stack and would give max +1, I think it's 6 be perfect.
