Hey Bungie what about us non PvPers?
I don't like being forced to do anything. but to complete gear and weapon quests. I wouldn't care if the non-PvP way took longer to do. I just straight up cannot stand PvP. But to be forced to PvP with major conditions, with poorly worded quests ie: Thorn's PvP segment: "Void energy or hand cannon kills". My only void kills I've seen count are "Void Hand Cannon" kills 0 from void abilities though I clearly got a triple kill with a nova bomb. So yeah fix your crap.

10 AntwortenI'm too awful to enjoy pvp, and guides/practice have not helped in the slightest. Working on solstice armor and the 25 kills section took me 9 mc games to complete, I understand that pvp is part of the game but I would still like an alternate method so that I won't be completely miserable.

I hated grinding hours of PvE. the same, repetitive, mind numbing experience that was reckoning for spare, and nightfalls for mindbender’s. bungie forces players into all activities.

I hate being FORCED to raid just so To get a chance at getting the featured exotic/loot. It’s not fair! I should be able to play pvp and be rewarded with raid loot too. It’s not fair!!! I don’t like shooting and brainless AI that have predictable movements/attacks.

I would just be glad thorn doesn’t have negative progress like it originally did. The pve strike after it was far worse than the pvp step even if it took less time granted I 2 manned it that still took like 3 hours to beat since I couldn’t just nuke the boss to get it. Dw you aren’t missing much thorn isn’t amazing like it was on d1. Just use gnawing hunger and a void subclass and it will eventually happen. Iron banner allegedly boosts progress speed on it so there’s also that. I’m not a big fan of pvp steps either, but they are significantly easier than they were back on d1 with exception to the stupid one for lumina which is arguably more luck than skill. Even finding invader inside of 10 seconds is not a guaranteed thing much less making sure he’s dead before he kills someone. The gambit ones in general are worse than the pvp ones because iirc malfeasance also had an annoying step involving team wipes but I did that years ago.

They were doing so well with starting to give 2 avenues for quest completions, one PvE and one PvP for quests and then they just said frack it and then completely went the lazy route with Solstice.

It's amusing how Bungie started to look like they weren't going to force PvP or PvE on people that didn't want to do one or the other, then they just copy and pasted last years solstice event for this year ....

If you choose to not play all the content, then you don't get all the gear. The amount of stuff that requires PvP only is very small especially compared to the pve stuff. I think it's a fine balance for non PvP players. Do you want PvP tips?

Bungie: Were srry well fix it may take 6 to 7 years. Our pvp sucks but with cb now your games are faster with more lag but hey our streamers are happy so what can we say.

Look at all the new content that practically forces us into game modes very few people enjoy (Gambit, anyone?) If your problem is PvP, find a good group of friends. They don't have to be Rambo, but should at least know how to work in a group. Whenever I solo queue, I get murdered because my play style is extremely aggressive. You can be shooting me from afar with a Gnawing Hunger, and I'll still try to run up to you to slideshot ape you - it's that bad, and I'm a Hunter main. But, I met a group of guys when I joined my current clan that PvP'd on occasions, and we had such great chemistry from having raided together for so long. Now, mind you, my buddies are a lot better than me, but playing with them, I've also improved. I'm still recovering my k/d and efficiency from a year of being lambasted by 3v1's when I was abandoned by my last clan, but playing with teammates helps a lot, and you learn some tips and tricks. Bottomline, having teammates you can play with makes a huge difference, and I was able to get the requirements done in 3 or 4 matches, and that's all while my buddies were stealing my kills.

7 AntwortenWhat about us pvp players I even have to do a master nightfall for my SoH stuff I can’t do that. It’s sooo stupid that there is any part of the game that has loot. Like I should be able to do all my pve things in PvP for quests. Like why doesn’t 1k voices drop in trials. It’s almost like the game has separate parts and rewards and that’s ok you won’t get all content if you don’t play it all that’s how it should be

Deth Nite you make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

1 AntwortenIt would get dull if we could unlock everything just by shooting at AI monsters. Some rewards should push you out of your comfort zone. There are PvP players who despise endgame PvE as well. It goes both ways.
