If you look at Fortnite (who cares about the whole Apple thing rn), they have vbucks in the pass and the pass is cost vbucks so it’s kinda worth your investment elsewhere whether you wanna save your for a skin or get your next battle pass for free
Destiny needs something like you get 500-600 silver per season so in two seasons you could get one for free or save up on silver so you can spend on ornaments, ships, etc
I played Brawlstars a lot and even their pass has gems that you can reinvest into the pass or just buy skins. Gems are also found in loot boxes in Brawls.
It would be great if every bright engram had some sort of bright dust number as well. Eververse has been dried out no one had a problem with getting that seasons ornaments with that seasons engrams. It made perfect sense not this 1 year ago catch up stuff. I still like this game but that annoyed me a lot today

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von f3: 8/18/2020 5:57:22 AMRed Dead lets me earn gold. Red Dead lets me earn more gold by logging in each day. Red Dead lets me buy roles with gold that let me earn more gold. Red Dead lets me buy its season pass for 40 gold, and they give me 40 gold back spread out over the 100 levels in the season pass. Pick some flowers? Gold. Pet a dog? Gold. Change your shirt? Gold. For a company that loves money as much as Rockstar, they sure seem keen on letting me avoid paying for their premium currency.

3 AntwortenAgreed. I still think Warframe has the best model. 100% free, to hell with all you "p2w" idiots, that isn't the point. I have been playing for years, and put less money than my Destiny career into it. I have tons of premium cosmetics, etc. Thing is, they make so much on cosmetics and premium currency, they keep a free game 100% free. No paid dlc, no paid seasons, no forced paid content. THAT'S how you run a freemium game.

Literally every other game I’ve played with a season pass has let me earn some of the currency I spent on it back. From CoD to Dauntless. No reason why D2 can’t be like that

7 AntwortenWho else stopped reading after "iF yOu LoOk At FoRtNiTe" ??? 😂😂

1 AntwortenNot in Season Passes, but Silver should definitely be included in Expansion Purchases. If they're charging £59.99 for an Expansion, then it needs to have Silver in it. Maybe not the base version. It costs Bungie literally f*ck all to give someone Silver. Only their own greed gets hurt. "Thank you for purchasing the Deluxe Edition. Go treat yourself with this 2000 Silver." That's how it should be in my opinion.
If they're copying Warframe's business model, then they might as well do it properly.
It’s 10 USD. Every 3 months. Really?
-
2 AntwortenYou want silver in a season pass which cost ridiculous 10 bucks? So why pay for it in the first place... Asking for a discount for something which is already cheap is nuts. Ask for cheaper eververse stuff if you want...
-
Crazy how activision gives away free cod points in warzone too
-
1 AntwortenThey'll never put silver in the season pass unless they remove bright dust from the game.
-
Has bungie ever been pro consumer? I don't think so, I'm pretty sure none of them know what a pro gamer move is by rewarding their community with well ANYTHING. Maybe the 'bonus' rep which isn't free anything you still got play.

The battle pass is also the DLC. Its also there main source of profit for the quarter. Its basically just getting a DLC for free for doing basically nothing.

Bearbeitet von Demon_XXVII: 8/18/2020 11:40:39 PMHow about Silver in the season pass 600 Silver p/season But ONLY for those that have paid for the ‘Comet’ dlc & season! - The Paid For Pathway After the initial 1st & then 2nd seasons, that accumulates 1200 Silver - which could either buy the 3rd season (loyalty reward) free, or contribute towards ornament/sparrows/emotes/glows from Eververse (or just keep it rolling over)....maybe even a trade in system - 1200 silver gets 10000 Brightdust from Eververse

Ha! Jajajajajaja Why on earth would like to give away money when they can very well get ours?? 😂🤣🤑💵💸

2 AntwortenI stopped reading as soon as I saw fortnight. 2 very different games and nothing alike. One is destiny and is good, fun and unique for what it was and started a new genre. Fortnight copied multiple things from other games and was originally going to be a plants vs zombies clone. So, whilst silver should be obtainable in game. Its a micro transaction, it won't become obtainable in game.
-
Agreed. I don’t care how good an ornament looks that’s locked behind real money. If it doesn’t cost bright dust, I won’t buy it
-
Battle pass gives cosmetics. Season pass gives content, and yes I know bad content but it's content so ya won't be seeing silver in the pass soon because bunge bad too
-
3 AntwortenBeen saying this.

3 AntwortenYou cannot buy much with 600 silver man.
-
Have an upvote, since all other games with a season pass seem to go down this road.
-
1 AntwortenI was talking about this with my clanmates the other day and I completely agree Also gems were removed from the box lootpool in brawlstars
-
1 AntwortenDrCornwallace42 you make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

7 AntwortenBungie should buy me a Lamborghini, because I payed 3,33€ per month for a season pass. That's reasonable. You guys are nuts!

11 AntwortenThe problem with handing out straight silver is that silver can be used to buy a season pass. It costs 1000 silver to buy the pass, but are requesting we get 500 silver back, that's just silly. Instead, they have decided to give us Bright Dust and other cosmetic items. Sounds like a reasonable compromise to me. I think it is also a misrepresentation to compare the Fortnite and Destiny battlepasses. When you buy a new season of Fortnite, you buy it solely for cosmetics and currency to buy more cosmetics. When you buy a new season of Destiny, you buy it for the seasonal activities, quests, exotics, etc. The Seasonal Pass in Destiny is a bonus.
-
No. All Silver must be purchased... none will ever be gifted.
-
I agree. Cod gives you free cod points in their season pass though it's probably you just earning back what you spent lol. But still I agree with this.
