I just requested a refund for Beyond Light. I'm done.
SoH broke me. Forced PVP? No ornaments from last years SoH armor? I am so tired of not being able to play this game the way I want with the gear and weapons I want, and this was the straw that broke me. I just want to be able to equip the gear I like, the weapon I want, and play without being instantly nerfed as a result. Doing dailies is painful, as I have to use weapons and sub classes I dont like. Farming upgrade mats is painful as I now know you will nerf my gear at a whim later on and waste my time invested in master working them. Same with weapons. Whats the point of playing a game when I have to play YOUR way and not mine? Why should I keep paying you to tell me to stop having fun and use the gear and weapons you want?
I logged in yesterday, managed to grind out the blue gear requirements, and.... I just cant anymore. Its not fun. It feels like a second job. A responsibility or an obligation. Not something fun to do with friends or clanmates. Nobody I talked to is happy with this game, they just endure it, like an achy back or sliver in their finger, hoping it gets better. I am done hoping man. I'm just done.
I dont expect a warm welcome here, I just hope that some dev reads this, sees the real world consequence of poor game design and passes it along to somebody in charge. I feel like the abused wife of a relationship. Bungie keeps doing things that make me not like their game while saying how much they 'listen' the whole time. How much they 'hear' me and want me to be happy and know they care. Its clear you dont and never will. It should not be this hard to play a looter shooter. I quit WOW when it stopped being fun. I quit Overwatch when it stopped being fun. Now I quit Destiny when it stopped being fun.
This guardians eyes are down, permanently.

I'm done too. Playing a game I cant enjoy? No. I'm not stupid. Been playing other games and having fun. Enjoyed d1 and d2 partly, but I've simply had enough.

1 AntwortenI haven't played in months for some of the reasons you listed above. I just couldn't grind anymore. It was like watching the same movie over and over. 'Oh hey look, this time they gave the main guy a hat'. I want to love this game so badly but it IS like a bad relationship--you keep hoping it'll be different but it just isn't.

Its a looter shooter game. Grinding is apart of the game as it is with every other game like it. Solstice is the exact same as last year just less grindy between characters and no need to go from green to blue. I doubt you was complaining last year. You will end up coming back to the game. People always do.

12 AntwortenI got a refund too. Just a new map and a new subclass doesn't cut it for me. I hope they're changing things for the better next dlc, but as of right now, there's a lot they need to fix and rework before I come back. Dead by Daylight has been my game lately. at least they update their game weekly and patch needed things and take advice from the consumer. Bungie I have yet to see it. Things I'd need to see: -Bungie needs to listen more to the consumer. -shader rework -auto-dismantle toggle -Loadouts, vault rework -Gain loot from raids however many times you want to run it, make pinnacles weekly, grant ascendant and prisms -New leveling system. One where the higher my level, the more I see a difference between getting attacked and giving damage. -Aztec brought a good point, bring a community system in the farm for group activities people can stand next to and have flags, in game LFG. -Make armor stats worth it, example: if 9 seconds is the ultimate hunter perk, if you're at 76% you should get 76% of 9 seconds instead of the ten digits system. - stop with the multiple pinnacles of the same armor piece, create a buffer between so we can progress faster and easier. - better anti-cheat - Remove affinity on armor ffs. Make stat mods 0 and give us more options for mods to play with. Like.. there's so much that needs fixing. a lot of these are quick and easy.

hows it trash i been playing since day destiny 1, and i know they called the game destiny 2 but i think they worded it wrong as in the next 12 months we will get all destiny 1 copy and paste stuff back cosmodrone dlc nov vog and who knows what other lovely d1 guns we get if any left to copy and paste over...u have to admit its a easy copy and paste job for the devs cant wait to use my sucker wallet and buy venus d1 dlc with icebreaker as preorder next yr lets gooooo suckers

From the looks of your competitive PVP stats it’s probably better for the community that you leave the game anyway. Jesus Christ does anybody play the game legitimately anymore 🙄

You know pvp players have to farm nightfalls for ascendant materials we don’t like doing it but you don’t see us on the forums daily with posts like this because we can’t slide shotgun one tap yellow bar knights with headshots etc it’s an event that puts every activity into perspective. I get the gripe you have but all I read was bungie is making me play the other activities it’s not fair! And if you read that in the voice of a spoiled brat congrats you’re a destiny vet.

I skipped all of Shadowkeep because I knew it looked like nothing more than a teaser expansion. I was right and I came back now excited to play the free prophecy dungeon and I’m very happy with the game. Playing all of the old raids again, the dungeon, the new nightfall strike system (yes it’s new to me I legit skipped over a year). It’s all really cool and I’m excited for Beyond Light and Witch Queen most of all. Last year though it felt almost like a job too and that on top of real work stuff felt too much. I wanted to improve my real life so I quit. I still play a little too much now that I came back but I’m trying to find a balance. I will be passively grinding this time and no longer going after things that take too long to achieve. Hell I can’t even get most of the glowy solstice armor bc I don’t own Shadowkeep. But I’ll take what I can get and skip the rest. Same with exotic quests. I’m no longer a collect em all guy and the game feels better this way.
