These are the listed costs of event items in dollars.
Armor glows: $15 per character.
Emotes: $10 per exotic (2 new and 2 old)
Ghost Shells: $6 per (3 new and 3 old)
Sparrows: $8 per (2 new and 2 old)
Total cost for just the items listed above comes in just shy of $150, and that isn't even everything available. There's a lot I didn't include. That total cost is probably closer to $200 if you want everything. Are you kidding me???
Also, yes, all this stuff will be available for Bright Dust at some point, but it will cost over 24,000 Bright Dust if you want to buy the armor glows and just two of the exotic emotes. Are you serious, Bungie? Why have an event where participation in the event gets you almost none of the gear? This is just as bad at the 2017 Dawning event!
Remove Eververse from the game. I shouldn't have to PAY for stuff that I should otherwise be able to earn buy just playing the event activities. Solstice of Heroes could be a good event if corporate greed didn't dominate it. Unbelievable.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Insatiable: 8/12/2020 8:57:21 PMI want that new ship , unfortunately won't be sold for bright dust. It's the first ship that has genuinely wowed me since the whisper ship/ oryx challenge ship which was always my favorite , even in d1. It's fine though since it's cosmetic .

Apparently your brain doesn’t work. Eververse is optional stuff. You don’t need or have to buy anything. Get over it.

You don't NEED every damn thing. Like Seriously 🤨🤣😂

If you want everything you're greedy as -blam!- with disposable income.

1 AntwortenWhat gets me is they're not even trying to tie the cosmetics to the event. It's just random crap like a ghost with a hat on. They probably take all of 5 mins to model too, some real aspirational content right there.

Bearbeitet von Trafalgar_Lou: 8/12/2020 9:45:03 AMBut bungie only made 300 million last year alone, way more than allot of other companies. There game is now free apart from the 3 largest content DLC that you pretty much need to continue and get the most out of the game as well as payed season passes so they need all the money they can get!!! That’s why scarlet keep still has no strike loot but there were 6 scarlet keep exotic items in the cash shop alone last year. Poor little Bungie need more money so the cash shop is open for business!! I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if there was a DLC where Tess was the main quest giver and all the rewards cane from eververse silver boxes.

12 AntwortenI have that amount of bright dust nearly so I could get most of it. It’s also a free event so who cares how much the cosmetics are

1 AntwortenLuke Smith showing the greed that Bungie has now that his dumb ass is in charge. He's going to make Bungie become EA or Bethesda. Everything in the event is locked behind Eververse, nothing is earned through packages. If there was a chance for glows or something from eververse in the packages it wouldn't be so bad, but its not. Packages contain gear we don't want/need. Useless blues, or shaders I have 1000000000 of already.
