For well over a few good years+ I keep getting a contacting Destiny 2 servers then get dropped to that well-known white screen realizing after I just got kicked again. That was happening to me all the time, so I stopped playing until I got a Wi-Fi extender, due to my wireless strength. It *used* to be 66% (now the wireless strength is100%) there's nothing wrong with my network 90 Mbps DL time, my upload time is fine, 0 packet loss, ping is good.
What is going on? My ISP told me there's nothing wrong with my internet I don't have any troubles on any other game except Destiny 2.I own the Xbox one x. So that makes it even more fustrating.
Bungie- Please contact me back
(Or if anyone seeing this feel free)
My Xbox gamertag is Dc87dev
Thanks a lot.

8 AntwortenBearbeitet von RedPhoenix HD: 8/12/2020 8:47:00 PMYou are getting good ideas for where to look from the others, but I have a couple of things to inquire about and/or comment on. It's not always easy pinpointing a connection issue, as sometimes it is out of your control. 1. What "type" of internet do you get from your provider (cable, dsl, fibre, microwave, satellite, cellular, etc) ? The fact that you seem to have good download but almost no upload in comparison, is curious. 2. Who is your provider? 3. Wired is always better. You can have good stats and still have "hiccups" on wireless. People have suggested an ethernet line or powerline adapters - both are valid options. 4. Always run the detailed network/stats report from your console - I think that is what you are doing, but you need to know the details for that connection, and not some other connection on your network. It is very possible for one device to work great and another to be throttled by your router. 5. Stick with UPnP and not port forward, unless the console is the only device you have on your home network. Do not run port forward and UPnP at the same time. 6. When you first go in to the network settings section on your console, what does it say for NAT type? If it shows anything but OPEN, have you run the NAT test a few times back-to-back to see if it changes? Sometimes the router and console do not communicate properly initially and running that test a few times renegotiates the NAT. 7. You mentioned that you get the "Contacting" message. Do you see this at specific times, or in specific places? Are you alone or in a fireteam? Do you stop what you are doing and wait to see if it clears before proceeding? Sometimes the console will recover if it doesn't have to deal with a bunch of new data packets. This message can appear if you experienced a hiccup which caused a renegotiation of the wireless signal. Just a few things to note and inquire about - sometimes little things matter.

22 AntwortenPlease provide stats. Note wifi is never recommended for use as they are subject to interference. Also.. do not trust your ISP only as they do not test to see if your internet is up to gaming standards just that you have internet. And... when was the last time you reset your router and then cleared your system's cache. Ps. Do a search for Bungie's troubleshooting guide on Bungie.net or the Destiny app for tips on internet setups.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Justin_Giver: 8/11/2020 6:22:13 PMI would also look for the Forward ports for Destiny 2 and xbox links that are out there. It will def help. And get a Cat5 cable and wire your console.
