I have recently decided to return to destiny 2 after well over a year of not playing the game. I was unaware that the game had been removed from battle.net, and thus immediately I searched for a way to transfer my account progress. The website prompted me to set up Cross-Save and to use the PC Move system to transfer my account. I went through and set up both of these systems. I logged in with my old battle.net account that I used to play destiny (with hundreds of hours of playtime and a decent amount of money spent), and selected the option to connect this account with my steam account. The PC Merge page says that my source account is my old battle.net account and my Destination account is my current steam account. I also authenticated my Steam account through the Cross-Save system as the site prompted me to. But upon launching the game, absolutely nothing has been transferred to my account. I went back and re-completed the cross save and pc merge process as the title card suggested when first opening the game, as to be entirely sure, but still nothing. I eventually caved and completed the tutorial, as the game had said that my progress made on steam would just be overwritten if my merge data were to come through, which i was fine with. However, upon returning to the website to check my PC Move page, the characters and data that will be "transferred" to my steam account, are the characters that I created during the tutorial. My initial reaction was to contact some kind of support line or find some sort of team, but there aren't many accessible links for resources like these. So I've come here to ask if anyone knows if there is still a way to access and transfer the characters and data from my old battle.net account to my current steam account. I know I'm quite late to the merger and all, but surely there is still some way to access my old account. Also... simply being prompted to manually complete the PC Move netted nothing but the exact same results, so I'm starting to run out of ideas.
