Rally barricade is worthless - needs reworking
Since the nerf removing insta reload this ability simply is not used by anyone, its worthless. It needs reworking or perhaps removing entirely and swopping for say a personal overshield for the titan that gives 50 hit points and last ten seconds, something like that anyway.

I try to work it with bubble in the case that no Luna-Well is available.

5 AntwortenGive it guerrilla fighter. Increased handling, reload, stability and MAYBE like a 10% damage resistance for using the barricade. It's funny how that crappy perk in d1 could actually be half decent in this game.

I feel like if they brought back the automatic reload and made it where you have a short burst of regeneration(like when you pop the barricade you get a certain amount of health back automatically) then it would make the barricade way more useful. That’s just what I think.

4 AntwortenThe giant barricade is fine. Plenty of utility. I say give the smaller barricade like a buffed version of the Khepri's Horn ability that is more of an AOE than a quick linear blast. Would be good for pvp and minor add clear in pve. Keep the faster reload mechanic. Then give Khepri's Horn the same ability of Twilight Garrison from D1. Making all those crayon eaters happy out there.

I actually have fun with the rally barricade. I’ll slide into a horde of enemies, lay that sucker down, back up & throw a grenade at it & the blinded crowd. The enemy animation of being blinded by it is amusing. Granted not as useful as dodge but, hey I work with what I’m given.

The other one is cool but I think it should give you something in addition to just blocking.Maybe start slow regen or something,probably 2-3 sec dmg buff, or who knows.Bungie is always going to find something for the hunter. I don`t think we are asking for much.

4 AntwortenAgreed. I came up with an idea similar to this a while ago. The ability to sort of wrap the Barricade around yourself and take a crap ton of damage but only be able to walk or have it be like Armor Lock from Halo Reach.

They should revert the changes or dial down players ability to evaporate bosses in mere seconds. I noticed several matches in Gambit the other week where players on both my own or the enemy team wiped out the primeval before you can even blink. That can't be right in terms of competitive balance and shows no one really cares about balance. So just revert the pointless changes and let everyone do what they want and stop talking/complaining about power creep.

The auto reload essentially just boosted your DPS. Why not rally barricade just increase DPS like empowering rift.

Bruh it should just be replaced by a forward-facing personal shield that moves with you, with less total health ofc. Eat your heart out, shoulder charge apes.

5 AntwortenIt's certainly not worthless. There are situations where it can shine, but yeah, it could do with a rework. A personal on-demand overshield would break PvP, though.

I’m just convinced Bungie doesn’t really care anymore. Can’t be a “problem” if no one’s using it right? I feel like this is the mentality they have when it comes to balancing certain weapons and abilities which is really pathetic.
