For sunsetting gear. I'm overall ok with this idea but there are a few huge issues that i want to bring up as well as a question. So lets start with the question: can you guys make all versions of the mini-tool and the drang not have a sunsetting level cap sinc ethey arent overpowered and directly affect the performance of their exotic counterparts? Drang for Sturm and Mini-tool for Mida Multi-tool. Now the issues that i see which should be high priority for you guys. 1. We need more options of each special weapon for each element, that of which IS NOT getting sunset. For example: Snipers. There is not a single legendary sniper that isnt sunsetting with the arc element, and there only 1 void one which is currently impossible to obtain, aka Trophy Hunter. 2. Enemy elements. How is this going to play out with the new -blam!- element? I imagine that you guys have a plan for this but some of the community is worried about high end content becomming nearly impossible to complete with a lack of -blam!- weapons to use against new enemy shields should there be any, and if there arent new enemy shields that are -blam!- elements then all the new -blam!- weapons (hopefully theres quite a few, and more than 4 or 5) will be completely useless in end game activities like nightfalls for say, especially with match game being an always active modifier on master and grandmaster nightfalls. 3. Pvp. I am tell you now, from the looks on what the trailer you showed, -blam!- subclasses might potentially be very overpowered in pvp being able to freeze, suppress, and do good damage with little to no effort. The subclasses look fun but they seriously seems too powerful in pvp at least with the freezing factor. 4. Lastly, kinda ties into the element issue. I have a proposal if an idea that could fix the element issue and when i asked my clan about it, everyone agreed itd be nice. Simply bring back the random element rolls on energy weapons. That will completely nullify the issue of potential not having enough non-sunsetting weapons to deal with new shields and such. Doing this will also allow the community to grind for the sniper, shotgun, fusion rifle, or sidearm that they enjoy using as a viable option in for say a nightfall where right now, theres literally only like 3 or 4 valid options that ARENT sunsetting. This is just my penny for thoughts. If anyone has other issues or suggestions, please tell bungie. Maybe if we have enough people agree on something, they MIGHT actually listen to our ideas and do them.
