Which is best? I personally love the ease of use on Android compared to Apple. I had to watch a YouTube video on how to navigate apple products. Could be because I have the brain of either a boomer or 2 year old
I do like apples auto ad block & antivirus however. But I can just install an app on Android that does the same thing
And I don't even know if the software, but let's try to keep this debate between Apple & Android. So what are the thoughts of the people?
Edit: I do prefer apple iPads for art; as that is what I use. But this is mainly about phones :P

I do be having a pixel tho

I use Apple, I know it, it does what I want 🤷♂️

Android devices usually allow more userland modifications than Apple does. As long as the Android device has an unlockable bootloader, it's much easier to root an Android device than it is to jailbreak an Apple device.
-
While I prefer phones with Android, I actually like iOS a bit more tbh. I've ran into a lot less errors and issues with iOS.

My pocket rectangle is better than your pocket rectangle

3 AntwortenCan't stand iOS- OS for idiots, good for the non tech-savvy but thats about it, such a clunky user interface, and so many extra steps for everything.

No I’m not talking about slave labor to make the products, but I’m sure there’s plenty of material there. I’m talking how they’re trying to block you from being able to get your phone repaired because it the parts for it are “patented”. Imagine if someone did that for cars. They also have released updates for older phones that intentionally brick your battery life so you buy a newer model.

1 AntwortenI have never had an Apple product. That said, I couldn't care less what you use. Just don't try to proselytize me on why I need to have what you have.

1 AntwortenOnly Apple for phones and only windows for computers. Always

Bearbeitet von Seraph: 7/20/2020 11:43:49 AMIOS, because I’ve been using the IOS ecosystem ever since the first iPad shipped, and when you’ve been using something for many, many years, everything becomes second nature. A few years ago I abandoned my iPhone for a Samsung Galaxy 9 phone, and even though I love my current ( Android ) phone, going from IOS to Android wasn’t an intuitive process. I had re-learn how to do everything, and I’m not 100% convinced that the Android way is better, or more efficient. IOS is very intuitive for people who aren’t very good with tech, whereas Android requires a certain amount of familiarity with how operating systems work, which is why my parents both own iPads and iPhones.

Bearbeitet von Uncanny_Vale: 7/19/2020 9:21:43 PMiOS... but more out of habit than any kind of brand loyalty. I don’t like a lot of things about the Apple products... but I do like their stronger emphasis on privacy and security. Plus their user interface is a lot cleaner and well designed (in my opinion).

iPhones look nice and the interface is clean. But owning a Mac is a sin.

Nothing is wrong with an iPhone or Android....
but there IS something wrong with the people who judge you for using said phone.
2 AntworteniOS because I’ve just always had an Apple phone. Androids are just as confusing to me as apples are to you.

1 AntwortenI have heard that Apple products are less customizable. I do not agree with their policies of dictating to their consumers, how their products should or should not be used in regards to aesthetics or customizability. To me, that seems asinine.

Android is the only phone OS approved by YorHa.
-
Flip phone of course.

I use Apple because I get to keep everything “in house.” If you grew up on Apple, you’ll probably be sticking with it for a while.
-
Windows phone
-
I use apple and I already know Android is better because you don’t have to know how to move documents and pictures via Dropbox to move stuff to a computer that isn’t Apple.
-
Apple, cuz Android spies on you and does contact tracing without your permission, but Apple requires an app made for contact tracing.
-
There's no clear winner. They both have strengths and weaknesses.

I only like the apps on apple cause apple kinda sucks wit interface Plus the new iPhones are huge
