Gambit is so annoying right now....because of people being 'THAT GUY'
I'm so sick of being the team invader with the full set just to watch 'Mr. One kill Mcgrill' over here take the portal just to die with one kill and no motes drained or worst no kills and no motes drained. Like how is this okay in their mind to literally cause their team to lost just because they want to get a SINGLE kill with a truth of all guns. Kill the person invading my guy if you want to be a guardian killer bro. Like my whole kit is just for invading stop making my life and your life harder by being THAT GUY.
Seriously this ruining the entire game for me at this point. I'm just going to give up playing Gambit Prime since my teammate ( the fourth guy because I usually play with three stack) seems to be more comfortable with losing than playing the easiest team base objective in the whole damn game.
PRo Edit: This post is definitely satire try and not take it seriously can't believe I have to say this but some people as you can see are losing their marbles over this. lmao

5 AntwortenNah What’s annoying are people that play a team based game and go in solo just to always come here all confused and cry about the other randoms on their teams who they aren’t communicating with lol. Make friends or use the fire team finder if u insist on taking a video game too serious.

I usually avoid the portals like the plague but was playing with a buddy a week or so ago and got popped by an invader and nobody on our team was invading....ended up with 2 Army of One medals and 10 or 11 guardian kills with the Xenophage including the medal for wiping an entire team inside the damage pool. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while lol.

1 AntwortenI don't play prime and mostly solo. Normally I'm just trying to get bounties done, so I really don't care if people invade and how well they do or if I get killed before the prime has spawned. Invaders are the scum of the earth. People invade, it's a small map they can guess where you spawn, there are huge snipper lanes, you get an over-shield and can see where everyone is. People in teams always lag. Many times my teammates are new to the game and can barely handle the red bars, much less an invader. One time I was playing with 3 other randoms and everyone was trying hard to get motes and all 3 of my teammates died when an enemy exploded. I may have done some emote and not revived them. That was some funny sheznet.

5 AntwortenIf I see someone decked out in full invader armor not helping in some way (Even if it's just shooting mobs from the bank.) I will totally jump in that hula hoop of doom and dance just to spite them. If they aren't helping me, then I'm not helping them.

I enjoy Gambit, but Prime I stopped playing months ago. Way to frustrating. It'll be gone soon 👍

2 AntwortenThis why I don't invade unless literally no one on my team is taking the portal. I'm talking like no one has taken the first one and the next portal has come up. I don't think I'm terrible at invading but I figure anyone else is better.

3 AntwortenSome people don't have any strategies for Gambit. They just play it. Sounds like you solo? When I solo, I play to win, but don't mind losing. If you want to win so bad, play in a team so you can communicate and coordinate. A guy was pissing me off, would take heavy and use it on ads. When I play in a team, we leave heavy for the invader. Oh well, playing with solos. Other times, we just need 25 to invade, but we have 20 banked and people are trying to get 10-15 motes, enemy team invades and kills them. Oh well, playing with randoms. I get used to it and play with a team if I want to win.... Another good reason for no raid matchmaking....

1 AntwortenI hate this so much. Like listen here kid, if there is an UNBROKEN ON YOUR TEAM let him invade. He probably knows what he’s doing when it comes to pvp scenarios. But NOOOOOOO some little guy needs to repeatedly run in the portal and score a single kill. Whereas every time I invade I get a gold medal.

1 AntwortenIf you want people to care about what you’re doing you should probably start going on LFG. I’m in the top 500 for Prime and totally gave up on solo queuing because the matchmaking is such a mixed bag.

My last reply on this trend. Keep talking about this and maybe we'll see something change for the better in Gambit perhaps it can be made fun again. Though it seems many people don't seems to care about the playlist those who do can keep this post going until it get some bungie attention or not. Really was just spit balling some minor frustrations about Gambit as of late. Oh well.

1 AntwortenThere problem with gambit though is there are a lot of "those guys" of all types that make it incredibly unfun. There is the guy who thinks he has money on the line and invades every 20 seconds with a sniper or a truth even if his team is 60 motes behind he still invades being a prick and making the match take an extra 2-5 minutes and he still loses. There is the guy running around punching everything just trying to finish his bounties and bounce. There is the troll guy who does not help at all and is only there to be a burden and get your team to lose. There is the guy using hacks. There is the guy who just has no clue what he is doing and banks 4 motes or 9 motes or 14 motes. There is the guy on crack that runs around like a mad man killing everything and picking up tons of motes but always dies before he banks them. Then you have the plethora of bugs and glitches in gambit as well. Gambit just plain old sucks. They should have brought back prison of elders. They should take gambit out of the game and give it a full rework and only put it back in when it's not still in beta test mode.
