Hey bungie I have an idea. Instead of bringing back faction rallies. How about making each faction a vendor. Where we can purchase armor and weapons with legendary shards or bright dust. Idk maybe add bounties where we can earn armor or weapons from each faction.

I think they should make factions like how they were in D1 but have faction rallies and make them more like 2x/3x infamy/valor events.
-
That would actually be better... To be honest I stopped trying during faction rallies dead orbit always won

2 AntwortenI’d love to have the exotic class items back, liked my d1 fwc bond But I don’t think bungie care so no point
-
6 AntwortenSo... you're proposing that they go back to D1's superior faction gameplay implementation.

Factions... another example of the halfass planning that went into D2. They barely run FRs in the beginning before shelving them, leave the NPCs around for an eternity, then tell us hey it wuz dumb and makes no sense to have. Then they remove it entirely.

Bungee claims that it’s because there are too many characters in the game or something stupid like that. However bungee also introduces new, extremely pointless characters when the three clan vendors have been there since launch of d1

No bounties

Should've been that way from the beginning. Faction Rallies were a neat touch but it was completely lackluster in the grand scheme of things. It cleans out the world loot pool and gives us some focus on obtaining specific loot, and Bungie can just recycle assets from S2 Y1 or even D1 which may even include voicelines. Seems like a win-win if Bungie was willing to put in a bit of effort. "Too many vendors" my ass.

3 AntwortenThey claim they can't do this because they already have too many characters, forgetting the faction vendors were a thing before most of the "too many" now.

It's hilarious. The vast majority of feedback at the minute is "just make it like Destiny 1 because Luke Smith ruined Destiny 2" (which I agree with for the most part). At this point, they'd be better off just re-releasing Destiny 1 as a Remaster and let us play that instead. They could say that Destiny 1 got Unvaulted, and now they're letting us play D1 again from scratch to re-earn all our gear. Then just scrap Destiny 2's development and keep it a live-service Free2Play shitstorm that it is for the Credit Card Kids to keep playing. And before anyone (probably a certain brown-nosing person who shares his name with a shade of Blue) says "bUt ThY'rE aDdiNg dEsTiNy 1 StUfF tO dEsTiNy 2 sO yOu CaN rEpLaY iT". You know that's not what I'm saying.

4 AntwortenHere's a Thought If Bungie added It then everyone would complain that Oh BuNgIe Is JuSt ReUsInG OlD CoNtEnT ThEy ArE So LaZy

Yeah just like in d1

4 AntwortenDid you just say add bounties? You must be new here. Best get out before the pitchforks show up. But I actually agree, there should be something with factions. I'm all for going back to D1 style where you have to pledge to one faction. But I say dont do tokens. After I pledge, let me earn levels for the faction by playing activities. Which unlock new things (armor pieces, weapons, that go into the factions loot pool). Make a certain activity every week award more exp.

2 AntwortenI want that dope looking armor and weapons once offered long ago. Factions once had purpose, meaning, rewards, now they are just random people sitting around the tower doing nothing. Can we elect a new 'speaker' also with unique rewards as well?
