I get that you can run red dead but what are your specs?
Also why do you have the game on an external drive?

It's an Acer Nitro 5, Intel Core i5 7300 HQ 2.50 Ghz (sorry, I don't know what this tech stuff means, I'm just copy pasting.) 8.00 GB Ram, 7.89 Usable, 64 bit operating system. It's on an external drive because I have a laptop with around 200 gb space, and about 100 of that is its files. So there's basically either room for rdr or destiny, not both... and since getting constant beaver error codes and then the game going screwy like this, I play more red dead than destiny... so it's been on my external drive.

You didn’t post what gpu you use in your system (graphics card)

It should be a GTX 1050.

Did you try loading the game on both your SSD and the external drive?
