Straight away I want to make my opinion of AFKers perfectly clear: You guys are a waste of the air you breathe. Ok, so why make a guide? Well I learned long ago that just as players gotta play and haters gotta hate, AFKers gotta AFK. I mean I don't get it myself but maybe thats because I'm of an older generation, in my day kiddies we actually PLAYED the games. But hey, if you losers are going to do it then at least learn how to minimise the impact to others while maximising your own efficiency. Power Level: this is important because PvE activites like Forge matchmake by power level, anyone who actually wants to complete the event properly will likely be going in with pretty high level gear. So if you want to AFK then the first thing you need to do is equip your lowest gear, I'm talking 750 and below. If you've got any of those halloween masks in your collections then use one of them for best effect. And don't worry, the game knows what your highest level is so any engrams your get will still be relevant. This is actually an old technique and means that you're far more likely to match with other AFKtards, which is better for everyone because if I catch someone AFKing I'll drag it out for as long as it takes for you to be booted to orbit, and I'll report you. If you match with other play-challenged inbreds then the matches will be over quickly as no-one is killing or throwing balls, so its much more efficient for you. The matches will also be quick enough for the inactive auto-boot not to kick in, just remember to plug your controller in. Another tip is to change your console location to somewhere Destiny isn't played much. (so like anywhere? Lol) somewhere like Korea for example, if all you AFKretins did that then the rest of the Destiny community would be very grateful. Or, just play the game. Its a game. The clue is in the name.
