I reckon it should Boot people who are inactive for a certain length of time...
It's so annoying when trying to do a forge and either 1 or 2 people just stand around doing nothing the whole time!

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von Shaxx's Third Horn: 6/15/2020 11:59:44 PMJust plug in a controller and hold down the sticks with something at 45 degree angles so you run around in a circle and aren't technically inactive

3 AntwortenIt's nice weather outside, sunny for a change, been sat in the garden with a few beers. Got about 30 umbral engrams today doing this. Good times.

Bearbeitet von Spicy Water: 6/14/2020 7:46:33 AMWhile I am personally fine with afk forging (if Bungo is gonna make all my gear worthless in a few seasons, I may as well get a shit ton of this seasons gear for no effort) I feel the need to point out, for everyone calling the OP a “hypocrite” for “afk farming all day”…
You… you do know that you can see how many kills they get per forge run, right?

and that an afk run would… you know… have a lot less than 50-60 kills per run?

I love watching this community from a safe distance
NOTE: also, while it is true that the OP didn’t get any kills for three of those rounds, they also didn’t have any deaths during that time. This suggests that they probably just left the match before they could have their time wasted, instead of suggesting that they were afk farming during that time. Crazy where a couple of brain cells can get you

Stop whining get a Fireteam. Bungie always just takes stuff away or makes it more expensive. People now use a exploit for a couple days who cares. Let them enjoy a while for getting something back for once.
-
2 AntwortenAll AFK farmers - it’s sad, personally would rather play to earn than use a glitch to gather whilst asleep but sadly everything in today’s society is about shortcuts
-
6 AntwortenThose people are doing it incorrectly. My power is 571 when in do it to ensure I am not messing with anyone trying to get something done.
-
Afk farmers should be dropping their power below 750 to only match others below 750. If you're just your normal level and not playing... That's just not cool.
-
5 AntwortenAFK farming is boring sometimes. Your not even getting anything some runs
-
4 AntwortenI don't understand why bungie allows this, i mean if there were people doing an exploit that was this game breaking in a game like red dead online those users will be banned for like a month or something. Yet bungie doesn't do anything. Are they trying to tell users it's ok to do this? because if they are then why not just allow AFK farms on every game mode then? I mean why bother playing the game at all at this point.
-
Forges already do that. They just end before the AFK timer kicks in.
-
LFG if you're trying to do legit forges, for some reason.
-
You're not getting matched with afk farmers quit lying dude lol
-
I think at the minute, you would be better using lfg to do forges properly. I'm not saying it's right or wrong because I don't really care.

It is possible to kick those who do nit actually know how t afk farm correctly. You are supposed to lower your light so you can set up a quick revive macro so the game registers you are still there. If someone has not done this, and stays dead or somehow doesn’t die, just extend the durration of a forge till they are kicked. The person farming could very well return hours later to see themselves on the home screen having waisted hours

16 AntwortenLegitimate question, why at this point are people trying to actually do forges? Everything in there is going to be sunset. Unless you need Jotunn or Le Monarque?
-
what a -blam!-, shut up

Achievement Unlocked! Congrats on being a hypocrite...

Imagine making a post crying about something and then spending the day doing the same thing you were crying about. Amazing! 🍼

1 AntwortenThe problem starts with the power grind Bungie makes us do every season. Power grinds are fine for an annual expansion, but 40 power + 10 pinnacle every season is gonna get old quick. I understand why they are implementing sunsetting, but the power grind every few months makes it worse.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Wes: 6/14/2020 1:33:45 PMI mean, if people are gonna AFK farm, drop your power below 750. I can see why people are doing it. If I have the options to : 1. Play year and a half old content every week with the same strikes, same patrol areas, same everything to hit 1050; or 2. AFK forges at lower power to get to 1050 so I can play how I want after. I'm doing the latter. I wish all these "Tier 1" and whatnot drops didn't exist. Every legendary from any source should take you to the softcap. Slowly, but they should progress you. Play what you want to progress. And then, do pinnacle activities together to the hardcap. That should be how it is.

2 AntwortenSweatcicle posted something on Twitter telling them to fix or disable the forges. Won’t be too long.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von LocoToopa: 6/13/2020 7:11:11 PMLol if you're match making with afkers then you're <750

4 AntwortenYep, this is really irritating. Literally every forge I entered had AFK players. I've been leaving them messages, and reporting them for Inactivity. And no, it's not easy to solo the forge, people need to stop saying that. This needs to be fixed ASAP by removing the rewards for failed runs. I don't care if you want to get rewards for literally not playing the game. It's lazy, and those that are not being considerate and dropping their light, are frankly selfish.

Same... It is even more annoying because I and other one manage to stand our grounds and reach the Final Stage. At which the goddamn moron who're just standing and dead the whole time suddenly revive and fight at the final stage. God I wish I was able to gut punch this fella and rob him from all his loots.
-
Even though you’ve spent most of today afk farming. Okay
-
2 AntwortenNot sure if I've ever seen a bigger hypocrite before. Yes... We can see your game history.
