I can’t be the only one right? It looks like the room from the dreadnuaght where you fight two taken bosses right before oryx in regicide. It’s obviously intentional, I think it’s an awesome call back

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von MC 077 Lasombra: 6/12/2020 2:49:17 PMWell...while it may be due to them being lazy, I can see a lore reason. The Dreadnaught was the symbol that of the Hive for eons. It’s also the seat of the High Court, Oryxs throne. Which was the defacto palace for the whole Hive. Makes sense that as she has mantled Oryx as the new Taken Queen she would take his Court as well. Just twisted and perverted, as is Savathuns style. So...maybe they were lazy but went about it in a way that makes narrative sense. I’ll give them credit for it.

Before reading this I was like another person complaining about something lore would describe but then I was proven wrong.

2 AntwortenYeah I like that a lot, only a true fan of the TTK will notice this

1 AntwortenGiven how HEAVILY modified it is, I won't called recycled content. Probably similar cuz Sava and Oryx are siblings

I thought it looked look the D1 immune exotic sword knights area.

Sure. They aren’t bright enough to create; just steal. And there will always be people that will pay. That’s how Bungie will “just get by”

Bearbeitet von FatedReclaimer: 6/10/2020 8:52:02 PMIt’s the sunless cell door opening sequence and the Sword of Oryx room for the exotic swords.

More recycled content? Are you actually surprised? 😂
-
I was thinking the same thing. Sunless cell strike from d1
-
Probably lifted it straight out of the dreadnought. You didn't expect them to create a whole new area did ya?
-
I remember doing that area for dark-drinker
-
1 AntwortenI'm pretty sure they just reskinned that room to save development time instead of building from scratch.
-
Kind of looks like the Court of Oryx on the Dreadnaught.

It's just the dab jojo mission design

Bud was thinking the same thing
