They are a boring enemy ,and we have defeated them twice.
Let the destruction of the almighty ,which was also destroyed twice,be the end of the red legion
Bringing them back a 3rd time will be lame

I saw someone post that it would be cool to see the cabal base in Earth to be taken over by Fallen and overgrown...while I love this idea I don't think it would make sense to be immediately overgrown however a continuous decay of the sandbox would be an awesome 'living breathing world' experiment.

14 AntwortenI am sooooo tired of hive and cabal man. Cabal were SEVERELY underrepresented in d1, but theres been WAY too much of them in d2. And the hive........oh my gosh the hive. About 50% of content across d1 and d2 is just devoted to the hive, or at least that's what it feels like. Theres been so many expansions and DLCs seasons about them. It really is time to look at another race. The next expansion needs to focus on something else other than those 2 races, and considering the amount of 3 of races we've seen in y3 (vex, hive, cabal), the only existing race I feel they should do is Fallen, if not a brand new race. The Fallen haven't done ANYTHING in d2 other than be the focus for 1 season that was over a year ago now. I would absolutely love to see them have the spotlight again. Hey though, if they follow the old d1 concept art from before its release, we'll at least see Fallen presence on Europa. Keeping my fingers crossed.

2 AntwortenI always liked the Cabal. Calus is one of the coolest characters in the game. I don't really care for Hive for some reason even though their lore is really interesting. But yeah, the Red Legion should probably be done with. A truly epic Fallen story would probably be pretty cool at this point in time. It seems like they get treated a little too much like bottom feeders in D2 even if that's kind of supposed to be their role.

This all started back in D1 so that's 1 red war 2 spire of stars 3 season of the dawn 4 season of the worthy makes 5 times we kicked the calbals butts but sadly we aren't done with them because of calus daughter is the new leader of what's left of them from the lore she want's revenge for all the defeat we gave them

I don't think it's because they're boring, I think it's just because it would not make an canonical sense for them to be there. Their last stand was crashing the almighty into the Traveler, that was all they had left, leaving them in the game would cause continuity errors within the game world. Calus' legion is still around though since he's been around Nessus for the last 3 years so that would make sense. But yes the red legion has to go.
