How is your XBox connected to your network, wired or wireless? Do you have a router that is separate from your Internet modem/gateway or do you use an all-in-one modem/router?

  • Have you tried clearing your console and network caches? To do this power down your XBox, your router, and your modem. Then unplug all three devices from their power source. Leave them unplugged for at least 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, plug in the modem and get it fully booted. After that, do the same with your router. And then finally plug your XBox back in and try the game again. If that doesn't help, then try swapping the Ethernet port your XBox is connected to on your router. If that doesn't help then try swapping the Ethernet cable out for another one. I would also suggest swapping the Ethernet cable between your router and your modem. If the above didn't make any difference, then connect your XBox directly to your modem. If the game plays fine connected to your modem and you did the cable swapping as indicated above then it seems likely the issue is being caused by your router. If the game still doesn't work even connected directly to your modem then it indicates a problem with either your modem or an issue at your ISP.

    okay, after trying everything you said, I had no change and am still getting error codes cabbage and currant. I highly doubt that there is a problem with my ISP because all other games are working fine. There’s also the consideration that this all happened after the felwinter update and there are other people with the same problem and have different models of routers/modems and different ISPs. I appreciate the response though.
